There will be an investigation post-crisis, on what blunders we made...and if Trump/Trump's cronies made big, obviously avoidable blunders, we'll crucify him metaphorically for it, as we do with all his tragic words and deeds.
I doubt seriously anything around this particular crisis, would be "criminal" in nature, that seems absurd.

Our system is dumber than Glenn, we have a president above the law, and we need to fix that. Even then, I would imagine this would not qualify, because this is emergency actions in a crisis, where a chief executive no doubt has even broader authority. Talking like that right now..I think is counter-productive either way.

He can be removed for it, but unlikely that anything criminal could arise from this, much less WOULD arise from it.

Not news, or post-worthy though IMO. Looks like Trump stroking.

No such investigation will be undertaken during the remainder of the Trump Administration. The Trump team and the GOP leadership will pull out all the stops to prevent any such investigation.

Any investigation will have to be undertaken by the Democratic majority in the House.

Which will immediately be assaulted and attacked by Trump, the entire loud right wing noise machine, as a partisan exercise. Trump will block witnesses and documents, which Rush covers by yelling look the other way.

A charitable way to look at it is that the guy was floating a proposition that would contribute to the narrative his cable employer wants to advance to see if it would garner any attention.
Seems to have never left the launch pad.

Some looney leftwing posters can't wait until Biden strides into the oval office to save the day. Pelosi & her braintrust AOC,
Omar, Tlieb & I even heard Shumer along with some MSNBC anchors are hovering together thinking about another
impeachment inquiry of Trump unless he meets their demands among those demands being that Trump immediately
insert Biden on the Coronavirus taskforce. It's a very long time until November for Dementia Joe. How long will
democrats keep up this farce?

In the meantime, Pelosi and Democrats are holding Americans hostage until they can load up the coronavirus stimulus bill with
forcing companies to include more diversity officers and inclusion initiatives. Not only that, We are staring down the
barrel of the most profound employment crisis of our lifetimes, that’s not an exaggeration,
and what are Democrats doing? They’re trying to automatically renew visas and work permits
for all immigrants here in the U.S., because their jobs are very important. Way more important than yours.
Does this sound reasonous, absolutely!!!!!

I don't think Trump should be prosecuted for negligent homicide, but he sure as hell is a piss poor national leader.

I'm still not certain of the tiny details of why certain agencies guarding the public health were defunded under Trump, but it happened according to many. Whether it was just obscenely magnificent incompetence or malicious intent I don't know, but it's pretty sad. Water under the bridge at this point in time.
