Trump now says he's open to entitlement cuts, including Medicare

Asked by CNBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, whether entitlements would ever be on his plate, Trump responded, "At some point they will be."
"We have tremendous growth. We're going to have tremendous growth. This next year I -- it'll be toward the end of the year. The growth is going to be incredible. And at the right time, we will take a look at that," he added.
Asked by CNBC whether he was willing "to do some of the things that you said you wouldn't do in the past, though, in terms of Medicare," Trump said: "We're going look."
"I mean we've never had growth like this. We never had a consumer that was taking in, through -- different means, over $10,000 a family," he said.

Read it and weep.

Trump's policy (on many things) is usually along the lines of "we've got the very best people looking into that and will announce a plan soon" or "you're just going to have to wait and see".

1. Trump is a compulsive liar who makes **** up even when he doesn't have to, and even when its in his long term best interest not to.

2. This is still a BS headline. I would be quite happy if Trump were to come out in favor of entitlement reform, but he didn't. He basically responded to a pointed question with a generic "eh sure at some point we'll have to think about it maybe in the future".

The reporter in question wanted attention and clicks, and, well, they got it.
