Look up context and nuance in the dictionary, then we can try again.

    LOL!!

To the Trump haters, "context and nuance" means "spin".

Trump words were very clear. The context was very clear. There was no nuance in his statement.

Re: Trump now says he's open to entitlement cuts, including Medicare

Wow the Democrats are truly desperate and the lemmings will bite on anything. Trump said he would take a look at entitlements. With millions of more people working and almost every working person making more money, it only makes sense that there will be fewer people on the welfare roles. Why would funding be kept at the same levels? One would hope the president takes a look at these programs.

Their are many aspects of entitlements that need examination. I recently went to a forum where a representative of the Social Security Department gave us a talk. Things I learned, they are paying benefits to over 2.5 million people that are over 100 year old. She told us that the census shows that only about 200K people over 100 exist but they still keep paying. They are actually still paying benefits to people who served in the Civil War. When pressed she admitted that most of that was fraud. Then she said they would rather pay fraudulent payments to a million people than risk depriving one person who actually deserves it. She admitted they are paying at least $10 billion annually to people collecting fraudulently. Social Security Disability fraud is a major problem too.

Medicare and Medicaid are not any better. They are both rife with fraud.

In fact every entitlement program is rife with fraud. The main reason is every time they try to address it the Democrats go crazy and start accusing the Republicans of pushing granny over a cliff.

As for me, I will strongly support any candidate who promises to address these problems.

Why do you hope he does it. Are you under the assumption that you're going to be somehow immune from any of the fallout of such cuts?

Since the last Civil War veteran died in 1956 the office of S.S. should have been aware of it and investigated those claims.

Of course, there's Medicare fraud, I've seen it myself. Of course there's Medicaid fraud. But you don't end fraud by decreasing benefits, you end fraud by rooting it out at the source.

The cuts won't be universal. You only need to look at the cuts to SNAP to understand how Trump makes cuts. He is all for paying benefits to those who deserve it. However, those who are abusing the system will not get a pass.

So eligible low-income individuals and families don't deserve SNAP benefits and that's why they were cut? Why is that? My point is why punish everyone for something a proportionate handful of cheaters are doing? Why not punish the offenders and not those who count on SNAP benefits to survive?

I hope he does this. It will cost him the election.

    Lying piece of ****.
He didn't say he was "open to entitlement cuts". Read the article and read his quotes and not CNN's embellishments.

Oh, so he was taking a look at increasing benefits? You're dismissed.

No, it's you clowns who are crying and whining about losing your country. You are clawing at air. Trump IS the head conservative, if you hadn't noticed, therefore, his word carries weight. If you are a "conservative" who doesn't like ****ing the poor, then pull your dick out of the poor's ass. A rhetorical defense is laughable at this point. The damage, done in the name of conservative thinking, is obvious.

Rich people can have anything they desire, can do whatever they like and have whatever they want from our government. Any legal action for every nefarious act of greed is effortlessly passed. But poverty, the problem, is too much for them. They are oh so sympathetic to the hungry, just to the point that it doesn't cost them anything, you know, like Jesus said. The important thing is that nobody keep people from being wealthier and wealthier.

If our government isn't willing to incentivize solutions to the real problems our citizens face, only acts of selfishness, then Trump has truly been a self-fulfilling prophesy of governmental corruption, incompetence and graft. Consider yourself a cog in that grand fiasco. The poor certainly will.
