FISA Court Admits Spy Warrants Against Carter Page Were 'Not Valid'

So do I. Their actions are what tells us the truth. Not what they say. They should be hanged for treason. All of them. Rosenstein first. It's no secret now that he wanted to get people together to remove him and wear a wire.

you need more moral authority and credibility, for me to confide in your sincerity. Your guy is lucky no Independent Counsel was appointed to take care of the conflicts of Interest and Constitutional matters.

An automatic petition to the House for oversight?

Of course not, his last name isn't Biden or something.

Go ahead and investigate Biden. Doesn't bother me one bit.

If you think the impeachment is wrong, just remember thst 2 wrongs don't mske a right and as far as investigstions intended to highway a politician you don't like, the Republicans don't exactly have clesm hands.

Not if he wasn't communicating with any of them. He had left the campaign already.

Don't play dumb. The warrant gave the FBI the ability to go BACK and look at all of his communications when he was with the campaign which would have then opened the door to everyone within "3 hops".

Just acknowledge the obvious, already. There really is no shame in it.

You misunderstand. It's not "everyone he communicates with after they initiate the warrant". It's "everyone he has EVER communicated with in his entire life".

No its not.

And really, what would they have found? That he communicated with people?

Woah!

That's not totally what the court said. They still held one of the warrants valid.

Ok, but how do you justify the use of illegal warrants?

For all of the truly clueless people in this thread: Carter Page: I've never communicated with Trump - POLITICO

"I never spoke with him since. I never spoke with him any time in my life," Page said when asked by ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos if he had spoken to the president since a secret surveillance warrant against Page was approved in October, 2016. Stephanopoulos followed up with Page, asking, "no e-mail, no text, nothing like that?" to which Page replied, "never."

Yeah, I guess that’s why Trump named him as a “senior foreign policy advisor”.

Immune from investigation?

Why was the investigation launched in the first place?

Stay tuned. Barr is working on answering that question right now.

See an earlier post

Of course if you read the link, 2 of the 3 warrants were ruled invalid. Which means that one of them WAS valid, thus action was warranted.

Don't hang your hopes on Barr's partisan investigation. You're bound to be disappointed when he doesn't find reasonable cause to imprison everybody who didn't vote for Trump (which is actually majority of the voting population)

And really, what would they have found? That he communicated with people?

Woah!

What would they have found? Apparently they found nothing... which further supports the fact that the warrant was fraudulent.

Didn't think that one through, did ya?

Yeah, I guess that’s why Trump named him as a “senior foreign policy advisor”.

He named him because people kept asking who his advisers were. So what team he had put together a list of people they could use.

Think what through? I'm not discussing the actual warrant and what they found. My first post in this thread was to ask what this had to do with Trump.

The FISA court rules which were rammed down our throats are not the rules for criminal courts.
So, their standards are different than criminal courts.
Other than that, your analysis is spot on.

Iirc, there was a bunch of hubub raised over the rules for these courts by people.
Iirc, the GOP Admin said the people who felt these rules failed to provide adequate protections were dismissed as un-American partisans.

I wonder how many of the GOP folks who were previously cavalier about the implementation of these FISA court rules in the wake of 9/11 are the same GOP folks who are expressing concern since a leopard unexpectedly ate their face.

That was before the deep state was exposed.

Now you know.

You're welcome.

Right, the RW conspiracy theory du jour, how could i forget....

How else do you explain the use of illegal warrants to spy on a presidential campaign?

One of the warrants was legal. Therefore, investigation was justified.

Most of the warrants were bull****. That taints the entire investigation

Because Carter Page was in the dossier. Haven't we already discussed this?

And who was the subject of the Steele Dossier? And who was the target of Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI investigation under which the FISA warrant for Carter Page was filed?

It doesn't matter that Trump was the subject of the dossier.

If I wrote a book about my neighbor and the mailman was in it, and the information about the mailman was used in an investigation, would it then be an investigation into my neighbor?

Crossfire Hurricane was the code name for the FBI investigation into the Trump Campaign, of which Carter Page was a member. the Crossfire Hurricane investigation filed the FISA warrant to investigate Carter Page base don the Steele Dossier accusation that Page was the go-between between the Russian Government and Donald Trump.

These are the facts, and you just make yourself look clueless by arguing that these plain facts, agreed on by all sides of this debate, aren't true because it helps you form a baseless deflection.

More gentle than trying to remove the president, methinks. See anyone trying to take down Putin?
That's some crack-addled logic there.

If I am unaware of an attempt by Russian security forces to topple Putin that means that Russian security services are acting more in the US's best interests than the USIC.
pretty-****ed argument, imho.

I guess if that's all you've got, you have to work with it.
