Yeah, you would think that a Presidential candidate who had announced eight months before to have some sort of foreign policy team!

It would suggest some degree of competence!

    You’re correct!

People were asking obvious questions. And in no small part because Trump himself was displaying an alarming ignorance of government and world affairs.

So he allegedly entrusted the job to a right wing talk radio host, who came up with Page and Papadopolous. Which wasn’t hard, since they were campaigning for posts.

Nobody in DC knew who Papadopolous was, and Page was not well known either, although there was something about him being mixed up with the Russians.

As far as anyone could see, these guys were bag men, which is what they turned out to be.

At the time, I raised the fact that these two “senior foreign policy advisors” were unknown, either in government or businesss, and were probably yet another one of the clowns that this man surrounds himself with.

Trumpsters angrily insisted that these guys were geniuses.

If he wasn't under investigation, it shouldn't have been a problem for Comey to say such, unless both of you are lying in your claims...

A DoJ special counsel is prohibited from indicting his own boss. An independent counsel had Clinton worried about a blowjob.

Again, not how these things work.
Unless a good Libertarian candidate emerges, I can support a moderate Dem. Biden, Klobuchar, or Mayor Pete. If it's Bernie, I will abstain. I bet I'm not alone.

Airy I would think the obvious conclusion one could make is that if the FBI already knew that Page wasnít guilty of colluding with the Russians to meddle in 2016 election then to go for a renewal of the warrant indicates an ulterior motive. As has already been pointed out to you there is the ďhopĒ effect. Connecting the dots isnít that difficult. Of course I donít expect you to accept the possibility that Trumpís campaign was the target. Thatís a pill too hard to swallow.

When the debate is lost, the loser resorts to slander.

Per John Brennan: Trump most ignorant, incompetent individual to hold presidency

I'd be fine with "swallowing that pill" but there is no evidence. You all are making baseless suppositions.

We’ve been seeing a lot of that with the current impeachment hearing. Funny how so many people are swallowing that pill.
