DOJ Is Investigating Comey’s Role in Leak of Classified Document during Clinton-Email Probe

For the first time in decades I refused to fund my college alma mater. They have announced that Comey is teaching a 3 credit course
in, get this' 'ethical leadership' one astute current student asked 'If I take the course & Comey is indicted will I get my money back?'

God, I hope the professor tells them "yes." Students, generally speaking, live in the moment, and I can totally see a good 80% of them spending their money as if they'll get the tuition for that class back.

The Republican rule is simple: always keep at least one investigation open at all times for Republicans to hang their hopes on. As it becomes apparent that one investigation is fizzling out, overlap that failure quietly by opening a new one.

Benghazi, emailgate, Plutonium One, the Nunes Memo report, the failed prosecution of Andrew McCabe, the IG investigation...Durham? Yeah, remember Durham? Boy, nobody talks about that guy much anymore.

But yeah, Barr is super intent on handing Trump any kind of PR win he can get, and he's going back to the old hits to do it.

Maybe you haven't noticed but the Dems seem to be way ahead in the continuous investigation sweepstakes. Only difference seems to be that the Republicans actually base theirs on real events.

I assume you're referring to things like Plutonium One and Pizzagate, along with every other investigation Republicans started that failed.

From what I understand Congress, Congress, not the House is a co equal branch.

Is that correct?

That's how it's supposed to be...but that's not how Nancy sees it.

Leave it up to Comey's buddies at the NYT to try to get ahead of the story and make it about Trump...even if they have to lie to do it.

Oh well...I bet Comey is a sad panda now that THIS part of his past is catching up with him. But keep in mind that Durham isn't finished.

NYT sure did their best to spin this story. Now we wait and see what the truth really is. But one thing for sure to take away from this is Comey is STILL under investigation.

On a 1st name basis I see

How is she?

Sadly, she is getting ready to crash and burn.

Oh well...she brought it on herself.

The people who got them will try to sell them on Ebay...and nobody will want them.

Nobody's talked about Durham in over a month. And after this investigation fizzles out, expect Barr to open an investigation into Whitewater. By the end of 2020 the DOJ will be investigating Chappaquiddick.

Ah, Chappaquiddick - featuring one of the Democratic Party's all time favorite super rich white male politicians who said "hell no, you won't put shallow water offshore windmills within the way off distance from my and my neighbors mega million dollar mansions! Go make poor people have those in the scenery."

I am shocked. Shocked. To find Gambling going on in here.

By the way, did you notice that this announcement of an investigation completely flamed out, and only after a good round of laughter? That’s the consequence of politicizing the DOJ. In the past, such an investigation would have been taken seriously. Now it’s a joke.

They just continually end up eating their own poo in every, single one of these sham investigations.

I'm starting to get the impression that repulicans like eating their own poo.

This is your idea of contributing to a discussion?

Hold on now... I don't think it's fair to Vince Foster to just skip over him like that.

I think it's surprising Republicans didn't investigate that one.

I just hope that Russia is paying for this witch hunt.

I am in favor of nonstop, 24/7 investigations. Drag everything into daylight, see what wiggles.

You mean like the EIGHT different Congressional investigations into Benghazi!! Six by the House alone? Those investigations?

These guys crack me up. They assume we live in the same right wing bubble they do I guess. SAD!

LOL. Sure sounds like you guys and Trump to me. Investigation after investigation after investigation.
