Justice IG to testify next month on alleged 2016 surveillance abuse | TheHill
Granted, this would not be the first scheduled testimony that didn't take place if it falls apart but it does give an indication that some of this 2016 stuff will finally get a proper airing.
My guess, for the record, is that Horowitz will make it clear that Trump actually started the investigation into himself as part of a scheme hatched with Putin to discredit Clinton and Schiff. I predict that 15 minutes after this hearing happens we'll see CNN announce that it has a highly placed anonymous source that will release all the documentation proving that Trump set himself up for the sole purpose of promoting his brand internationally.
Actually, it will be kind of interesting to see what comes of this. There was a good bit of political game playing when the initial FISA was released and accusations flew from both sides of the aisle so it will be entertaining to get a third party perspective regarding what actually went on.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee next month to testify on a forthcoming report on alleged surveillance abuse during the 2016 campaign.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who oversees the panel, announced on Monday that Horowitz will appear publicly on Dec. 11.
