[h=1]Lindsey Graham Claims Trump Donor Sondland Is in Cahoots With ‘Democratic Operatives’[/h]
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) openly speculated on Wednesday night that U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland recently changed his impeachment testimony because he was now partnered up with “Democratic operatives” and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Graham, who has been one of the president’s fiercest defenders amid the Ukraine scandal, appeared on Fox News’ The Story with Martha MacCallum to address Sondland suddenly recalling that he did tell Ukrainian officials that they needed to make a “public anti-corruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks” to receive U.S. military aid. One of the main targets of the “anti-corruption” investigations was Burisma, the company on whose board Hunter Biden served.

Lindsey Graham stated he won't read any of the transcripts, even though he'll be sitting as a juror in a trial. Lindsey Graham didn't even pronounce Gordon Sondland's name correctly, he referred to him as 'Sonderland'. Graham suggested that Gordon Sondland is a covert operative who colluded with Adam Schiff because he changed his original testimony, and it was bad for Trump.

Hard to argue with Sen. Grahams conclusion.

For those who have taken the time to wade through the 379 page transcript of Sondland's testimony, (including his "refreshed recollections), it's clear Sen. Graham is on point.

Desperation.

Trump will escape justice... Because of the “Party of Law and Order”.

And his sycophants will celebrate it, but it’ll be a black stain that hangs around their necks forever.

Democrat Dictionary:

Perjury = Refreshed recollections

...we already know it is only and merely a political process not any form of Religious process. We simply need more democrats in the Senate.

Lindsey Graham is certifiable insane.

What's the old phrase? "Rats deserting a sinking ship," or in this case more correctly...a "leaking" ship? ;)

However this is nothing new. We've had examples of appointees who praised Trump to get a job, then when they failed and had to be replaced? Suddenly they became opponents and actively spoke out seeking with some success to become "public heroes."

Omarosa, Scaramucci, etc., etc..

When it comes to the current investigation from what I've been able to read in those transcripts being released, there isn't really much of a case.

So far it's all opinion and speculation seeking to fill holes in the narrative Schiff is trying to weave. Often based on "gossip and news reports." Time will tell what actual facts may be revealed, but I won't hold my breath.

Lindsey Graham has lost his mind entirely. As he said, he's been a lawyer for a long time but what he really learned by being a lawyer is how to divert away from truth and create diversions. That's all he's doing because he cannot argue the facts. Lindsey Graham even stated that he has not, and will not read any transcripts. If he hasn't 'taken the time' to read the 379 page transcript of Gordon Sondland, how can he possibly make any judgements at all? His only defense is to concoct a conspiracy theory because he has no facts to argue.

I'm not sure what I want to see more, the republicans sticking with trump or abandoning him? Either way the gop is doomed. The republican party has sold its soul to trump and it should be obvious to them by now the rest of the country doesn't like it. Instead they yell and scream about tribalism and truth. Graham is the chairman of the judiciary committee for the republicans and after all the demanding to see the transcripts he won't read them. The republicans can't get away from their actions no matter how hard they try to convince the rest of us nothing to see here. They've lost the women's vote, blacks will never vote in numbers for the republicans and their base is shrinking, vocal but shrinking.

The distinction between Omarosa or Scaramucci and Gordon Sondland is that they were not facing prison time if they continued lying, Gordon Sondland was.

Demonstrates the power of emotionalism over rational thinking rather well.

If one reads the transcript, Sondland makes it clear he knew nothing about the Biden element, even though Schiff badgered and cajoled Sondland during the time Castor, for the Minority, was questioning him.

Now he is shifting gears? After the fact?

Laughable.

What did Trump do?

Asked a foreign government to help investigate a possible crime?

I'm sure Sen. Graham has been well briefed on the testimony of Sondland.

You on the other hand, may not be as well briefed.

So if Sondland did nothing wrong during his testimony and was a trump loyalist, how and why could the democrats even come close to bringing him to their side. If he didn’t lie the first go round he’d have no reason to remember. He’s scared #*$&less about perjury.

Should the democrats ask the republicans for a vote on an Independent Counsel? The Senate would have less to complain about, then.

MAGA sycophant = any criticism of Dear Leader is Perjury

From the transcript of Sondland's testimony:

Sondland:

And I know in my few previous conversations with the President he's not big on small talk so I would have one shot to ask him. And rather than asking him, "Are you doing X because of X or because of Y or because of Z?" I asked him one open-ended question: What do you want from Ukraine?

And as I recall, he was in a very bad mood. It was a very quick conversation. He said: I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelensky to do the right thing.

And I said: What does that mean?

And he said: I want him to do what he ran on.

And that was the end of the conversation. I wouldn't say he hung up me, but it was almost like he hung up on me.

What will you call the lying, manipulative, costly coup attempt hanging around the Left's neck.

They probably threatened to ruin his life...like they have done to others.

By failed you mean they didn't kiss the ass of Trump or agree with his unethical and corrupt actions. Trump requires loyalty over country and Trump supporters eat it up like crack whores. :coffeepap

Are you a "MAGA sycophant?"

Do you believe that any criticism of Trump is perjury?

I certainly don't, and I'm not a Trump suppoprter, so I found this reply odd.
