It was good to hear this, sounds very positive, kudos to Gov. Stitt. Video in link.

In Oklahoma, 462 people left prison Monday in the largest single-day commutation in U.S. history. Republican Governor Kevin Stitt had signed off on their release based on the recommendation of the state’s Pardon and Parole Board. Oklahoma has the nation’s highest incarceration rate, and its officials are now considering other criminal justice reforms. Gov. Stitt joins William Brangham to discuss.

Why should one person have the right to incarcerate his fellow man? I don't have the right to incarcerate anyone. Do you?

One person doesn't have that 'right' in our system. The OP is about releasing those incarcerated, not putting them in jail.

Good to see reforms like this spreading. Lots of work left to do, but we have to cheer the progress as it happens IMO.

Thanks for explaining that. :) I agree, seeing reforms like this is very good for the country!
