Poll: 62% of Trump supporters say nothing he could do would change opinion

1. I voted for Candidate Trump because Candidate Clinton's behavior revolted me.

2, Yes, I would vote for him again no matter what he did.

3. Why?

4. Because I am disgusted by the behavior of the Dems during the last three years.

a. If they had acted like adults and respectfully pointed out what they thought was illegal and/or unconstitutional behavior by the President, I might have listened and might have changed my mind about supporting President Trump.

b. But Dem politicians, Dem "celebrities," Dem media outlets, and Dem members of the Deep State have been so irrational and full of palpable hatred of the man that I simply will not even consider the validity of their complaints. They have even expressed anger that President Trump's three years in office have seemingly not aged him a bit!

Or it could be they perceive their guy is under attack and coming to the defense and deciding fight and repel the attack.

Ah, no...... The point was that 62% said they did not care what he did, may have done or will do. That is the statement I am addressing. That is forfeiture of discernment. That is irrational and an attribute of being in a cult: the leader can do no wrong, he is just misunderstood.

99.9 % of liberals think they do no wrong.

So, your point is?

...and, what is your cite for that supposed fact?

Hmmm... also from that same poll citation:

Does this also make THOSE citizens a "cult?" :coffeepap:

I would only like if if he announced at 9:00am tomorrow that he was stepping down effective immediately and would remove all of his administration and that all of his policies would be rolled back to what was in place in Janrurary 12th of 2017. I don't support ***** grabbers, con-men, liars, and thugs who allign themslves with Neo-Nazis and the Klan.

I'm trying to think ... what could Trump do to make me change my opinion of him? I'm ... I'm at a loss ... he's done so much so poorly in such a short period of time. He's attacked and threatened the free press, gold star families, decorated military officers, people of color, immigrants, career intelligence professionals, repeatedly lies over big matters and small, unimportant things, he's abused and degraded the presidency, name-called like a schoolyard bully, thumbed his nose at Congress and the courts, weaponized the FBI and DOJ for his own personal political ends, tried to make political points by denigrating American citizens in the midst of natural disasters, refused to go under oath to deny claims against him, lies to our allies, praises the dictator leaders of our adversaries, and whether anyone believes it or not, he's gotten the truly whacked out supporters to commit murder and mayhem, some even in his name.

What could Trump do to make me change my opinion of him?

Well said, thank you.

The main stream media has so discredited itself that nothing they say Trump did will be believed.
We believe what we see not what we are shown anymore.

So 45 million Americans are part of a cult?

Not agreeing with the bad math, but anyone who would agree with anything a certain leader does is certainly part of a cult.

62% of people who approve of the job Donald Trump is doing as president say they can't think of anything he could do that would cause him to lose their support

Not a cult. Totally not a cult.

Is this a high or low number when compared to past presidents. Do you have a similar number for Obama supporters. If not there probably is a point you are trying to make. Please let us know what it is.

Ah, OK. Your support of incompetence, chaos, destruction of our republic, criminality and corruption are duly noted.

Thanks for clearing that up!

that number rises to 95% if you're talking about online Tweety cultists, IMO.

That’s very insane. I mean, literally, if Trump started talking about genocide and practically quoting Slobodan Milosevic word for word, that wouldn’t change their mind? Everybody should have a limit.

So 45 million Americans are part of a cult?

The respondents of that poll are making the same logical mistakes many cult followers make

The really bad part about the die hard trumpsters is they will still be out there after trump is gone.

We know their true feelings now and it is not a pretty sight.

Right wing media created.them. now they are destroying the party of the right.

The real die hsrd Trumpians aren't about to let him leave office no matter how many terms

He could literally machine gun an antifa protest - on his own - and they'd cheer his hands on approach.

You are quite loose with labeling people cultists. If committing yourself to a President makes you a member of a cult then you will have to admit that all those who idolized Obama, no matter what, were and are cultists.

I'm sure Obama's cult would provide a much higher percentage of die-hards.

But to be sure, only the OTHER cult is a cult!

For your sake, I hope that Trump never goes Jim Jones and calls on you to drink that kool-aid.
