You Asked For It, GOP: Full House Will Vote on Process for Impeachment

As always the coverup is worse than the crime.

If he did nothing wrong then why obstruct the investigation

If such dirt exists...indict them. Oh wait....you cant

I didn't claim it was a crime. Just a typical politician more concerned about his own self interest at the expense of the interests of the US.

Finding out what was going on with Hunter Biden in Ukraine and Joe's insistence that the prosecutor investigating Hunters company be fired would be good for both the country and Trump. And being beneficial to both the US and the Trump campaign doesn't magically transform information into a campaign contribution.

Trump was less interested in the investigation than a public announcement of the investigation.

That’s the evidence that it’s good for Trump and irrelevant to the country as a whole.

There was not as much as even a mention of an "announcement of the investigation" anywhere in the entire conversation between the two Presidents. OR even any threat to withhold aid.

This is directly from Amb. Taylor. The phone call alluded to the ‘favor’.

And we don’t know what else was said on that call- it’s quite clear that the notes released are not a complete transcript by any means.

No one denies that he asked him a favor. I said there "was not as much as even a mention of an "announcement of the investigation anywhere in the entire conversation between the two Presidents. OR even any threat to withhold aid". Which of course is why you would rather turn the discussion elsewhere.

Elsewhere?

You think the entirety of Ukraine-US relations is reflected in an incomplete record of a single phone call released by a known liar?

No, but the phone call is the topic of our current dispute. IN FACT the entire conversation didn't even as much as mention this public announcement or the withholding of aid.

It’s like when Christopher and Pauly visit a guy and tell him what the situation is, then Tony Soprano has a phone call and the guy asks for help and Tony says ‘also, if you could do me a favor....’

Focusing on Tony’s words without getting the context behind it is stupid.

Mobsters like Trump rarely state their illegal actions in explicit conversations.

Youve confused Schiffs parody of the conversation with the actual conversations. I dont think parodies are admissable in a trial.

The actual conversations are recounted by Sondland, who’s confirmed that the aid was held up because Trump was extorting Ukraine.

This isn’t that hard, dude.

No he didn't. And what he did say wasn't based upon the phone call. And the idea of "extorting" a criminal investigation out of another country is laughable.
