'He Lied' Ohio Voters Struggle After Trump Promised Jobs

There will only be a few Trump-to-Democratic-candidate voters in 2020. But PA-WI-MI were razor-thin in 2016, and that may be all the Democratic candidate needs.

Everyone that voted for Trump 2016 can vote for him again. He will still lose in PA, WI and MI. The Dems were lulled to sleep in those states, some of that induced by the Russian interference. The Dems get their voters out in 2020 and Trump has no shot. 2018 showed us that the Dems are not going to stay home next time.

It remains to be seen what percentage of Veterans, Farmers, and Blue-Collar Workers vote for the Criminal Traitor trump, in any state.

You nailed that on the head!

Most people have missed that part of the Russian hit job was to make democratic voters complacent and fire up trump supporters.

All it took was 78,000 well placed votes.

The very first American presidency stolen by another country.

And if that is not bad enough the guy who "won" was not only aware but complicit with the theft of an american election...

Well the tone here in rural Wisconsin doesn't favor the lying con artist.

And I'm pretty sure he will never be invited back to speak in front of Harley Davidson employees.

Across the river in Iowa Jon Deere employees are not very happy.

He has totally ****ed over people in the midwest, and they won't be fooled again!!!

Lulled to sleep with near record turnout. Two states had very close Senate campaigns pushing the turnout.

In 2018, Democrats were promised the Mueller report would bring immediate impeachment, if they won the House. Indeed, Democrats have been promised Trump impeachment for three years now. On voting day, the memory of that broken promise will not improve turnout.

Beta's lets seize guns is going to hurt whomever is the Democrat selection in that those states given the howling approval of that claim by Beta and few of the other members of the clown show actually denouncing it. True, some like Klobushar basically said it was ill-chosen (before the election but not after it) but as the Delaware Senator noted,The Democrat party is going to get crucified by Beta's confiscation wet dreams.

This thread is about jobs being lost. You can't defend that. You can't spin that. So, do the only thing you can: Hijack the thread to talk about Dem "Coming to Take Your Guns Away! Be AFRAID! Be very AFRAID!"

Anyway, well done! If you allow people to talk about Trump and his jobs promises, you're going to lose.

4.3 million Obama 2012 voters simply sat 2016 out.

Lets get those people back and stop worrying about wishy-washy swing voters, who were ignorant to vote for Trump to begin with.

It is independents and moderates who decide elections and this segment of voters is growing larger every day. To ignore them is foolish.

Riiight, because Trump's pledge to overturn Roe, have more trade wars, build walls the majority don't want, overturn the ACA, separate migrant families, and the other thirty massively unpopular things he's done is going to be sooo popular in those states.

Not to mention the fact that the majority of the public wants new gun control measures, and Trump has pledged to support the very unpopular NRA.

These things are only unpopular to the liberals.

The latest official release state-by-state employment trends is current through August 2019. Here’s what you get if you compare the August 2019 figures to the July 2019 figures:

Ohio: A gain of 3,700 jobs.

here’s the change for the full-year period between August 2018 and August 2019:
Ohio: A gain of 24,800 jobs.

So while Trump may lose some votes from those who lost their jobs, he'll no doubt, gain a lot more because of the good economy.

The left has a bad habit of cherry picking their facts.

The Russians did us a favor by exposing what a crook Hillary was. We owe them a big thank you. No information they spread was false.

Trix already pointed out that jobs actually gained, not lost.

There will be more than a few Democratic to Trump defectors. It remains to be seen how it falls out.

The current crop of Democratic candidates are not helping the cause. Hell yes I'll take your guns. Open the borders and give 'em more stuff. More taxes to pay for 100 trillion dollar NGD. Free stuff for everybody. That's preaching to the choir. You've already got those. It's the undecideds that decide the election.

It's a little bit bizarre that millions of people couldn't pick out the country's oldest and most well known con man before voting for him.

I bet this isn't the first time these people have been suckered.

Don't underestimate the dislike of trump, there is always the SC to uhold our right to bear arms.

Don't underestimate the like of Trump. A fact missed in '16 was crowd size. It still is.

President Trump fills stadiums. Democrats can't fill street corners.

SCOTUS picks are important. The next President will get 2 or more. 1 will be Ginsberg. At best the left can break even. At worst 6-3.
Another reason to push the R button.

Consensus does not equal correctness.

Hoping for a partisan court is a disgusting and disparaging position that reaffirms to me we need to end Judicial Review, just so you lot can stop destroying our nation.

That's what they get for believing a man who was known to be a fraud and a liar.

A lot of them were gullible and weak-minded, easy to manipulate and convince, and Trump is a master of manipulation when it comes to those weak followers. At least some of them are waking up and growing a pair, perhaps they can think for themselves this time around and take a realistic look at this Gaslighter in Chief and the crap that pours out of his mouth at his rallies.

Well said, and true! Funny, just woke up not that long ago and reading this thread I had to check the title again and make sure it wasn't a gun control thread. Or about....

Well, here’s the problem. The job losses we’re talking about are the result of factory closures. The Lordstown manufacturing plant closed in March and, despite the best efforts of their union, will remain closed with two additional plants slated for the chopping block. So now the people who got Trump elected on the promise that he would save their jobs and make companies keep their manufacturing in the US or ELSE are becoming disillusioned.

Interesting you should mention. I watched an expose on the closed steel works in PA just yesterday. Trump made many promises to these towns and Counties, empty promises. Many of these Counties voted for Trump in 2016 by very small margins. He is in trouble with these small town rural voters in PA.

They don't know what they're talking about anymore. The link I provided that proves job creation has improved in every state is too much denial for them, I guess.
