GOP Group to air ads on Fox News calling for Republicans to condemn Trump over Ukraine Scandle

Hilarious.
You know who the hell are those "Republicans for the Rule of Law"?
"Republicans for the Rule of Law is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit and a project of Defending Democracy Together."
Well then who the hell are "Defending Democracy Together"? ... who is behind "Defending Democracy Together"?
Well, they are a bunch of elite Republicans (yeah, the elites come in all flavors) headed by, among others ... wait for it ... this guy ... the original and notorious Never Trumper

BILL KRISTOL

How does Bill Kristol being against Trump make him any less a Republican? Or are y’all not even trying to hide it anymore?

Just rename the Republican Party to the Trump Party and be done with it.

Who said he's not a Republican.

"Republicans for the Rule of Law (RRL), a conservative group whose stated purpose is "defending the institutions of our republic," will run a series of advertisements on Fox News this week to encourage Republicans in Congress to speak out against President Donald Trump's alleged abuses of power in the Ukraine scandal.

The videos will run every day this week on Fox & Friends and Special Report with Bret Baier starting Tuesday in the congressional districts of 15 House Republicans and the home states of 12 Senate Republicans, including Reps. Adam Kinzinger, Rob Woodall, Susan Brooks, Will Hurd and Fred Upton.

The advertisements are part of an ongoing $1 million campaign recently launched by the group that aims to persuade GOP members to hold Trump accountable. The group has chosen these specific congressional Republicans because "they seemed like some of the most likely to do the right thing," Carson Putnam, RRL's chief of communications told Newsweek...."

GOP Group to Air Advertisements on Fox News Calling for Republicans to Condemn Trump Over Ukraine Scandal

Finally. Finally, the GOP are showing signs of doing the right thing. They still have a ways to go but this is a good start.

The senate needs 20 GOP senators to help convict Trump on one article of impeachment to remove him from office. A few more pressure groups like this on the right and it could happen.

Glad you are happy, now if Democrats would do the right things. Like not sponser a fake dossier to try to impeach an elected President. Like not investigate a political candidate. Like not lie about an attack on our embassy in Behghazi. Like not support a President who lied in federal court, who sexually assualted numerous women. So don't act as if the democrats have any moral high ground, they don't.

Your whiny post implied that he wasn’t on the same level as you “regular Republicans.”

Nope.
Kristol is what he is.
I was just more fully identifying the source.
Is it of significance to distinguish between a Republican who voted for Trump but has grown to dislike him, from a Republican who never wanted him elected and has been making that clear ever since?

It is of no significance. His failure to carry Trump’s water makes him no less a Republican than you or anyone else - despite the fact that he is a “never Trumper,” nor the fact that he is “an elite.”

It must have been of some significance to the OP who said "Finally. Finally, the GOP are showing signs of doing the right thing".

Of course his original status is significant.

Of course his original status is significant.

So you agree that he is just as much a Republican as you or anyone else in the party?

The dossier has nothing to do with the impeachment.

The political candidate is a Russian asset and screamed to be investigated.

The only ones that lied about Benghazi were the ones using a dead ambassador for their own political gain.

A president who lied about a consensual affair doesn't compare to a president that raped a thirteen year old girl, paid off a porn star and grabs women's ******s.

So don't act like you're not a lying hypocrital Trump supporter.

So you agree that he is just as much a Republican as you or anyone else in the party?

If he's still registered as a Republican who are you to say he's not a Republican?
So you agree that a retreaded essay from one of the original Republican never-Trumpers is not as significant as from a new recruit?

Am I being punked?

I think I’m being punked.

Show me one place where I said Kristol wasn’t a Republican.

And no, a Republican is a Republican. Doesn’t matter if they are a new recruit. Just because they don’t like Trump doesn’t make them any less a Republican.

Newp. Not running, but I totally understand why you're compelled to pretend otherwise. People need their self-defense mechanisms.

You simply cannot counter what I posted because it's factual.

You lose. I win. Again.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with your running at this point.

You can go ahead and keep running your mouth for now. Seeing as that's all you've been doing for the last few post.

I don't use the ignore function. It's good to see what kind of nonsense they post from time to time and then watch them crawl away in fear when they can't back anything up.

Nope. This is a side group to Defending Democracy Together, a 501c4 created by Bill Kristol and others.

They are the old school conservatives who the left hates.

So, is this a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

Could be. Although, Kristol is a frequent guest on msnbc so the left must not hate him too much. There was a time when he was quite popular among conservatives.

The ads are worth a shot...especially in districts where vulnerable republicans are up for re-election.

Why are you repeating what I said verbatim, without using the quote feature?

You know - I’m done circling this stupidity with you.

You really needed quotes for you to recognize your own words?

You implied I said something I didn't imply and you've been trying to recover from the mistake for days.
It really wasn't necessary.

Now that Trump has outlived his usefulness of ripping off the American, it's time for Operation: Dump Trump. Of course this was the inevitable outcome, whether its this group or another group.

Trump supporters don't seem to understand that Trump is a vehicle, not the driver. Listen to Grover Norquist:

"All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate."

Their website is odd.

The group is a spin off of Bill Kristol's group, Defending Democracy Together.

Kristol is a old guard hack who hates the President, and has joined with the New Democratic Party to try and remove him.

They can waste their money any way they would like.

What gave you the idea that I didn’t recognize my own words? It kind of was the entire point of my post, but I wouldn’t expect you to understand that, considering you’ve been here 6 years and still have a hard time mastering the quote feature.

LOL! I accept your latest surrender. Please enjoy your fantasies.
