Poll: 57% Americans Support Probe of Biden and Son’s Ukraine, China Actions

Poll: 57% Support Probe of Biden and Son for Ukraine and China Actions

A new poll showed that 57 percent of respondents support a Justice Department probe on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden regarding their actions in Ukraine and China.

The poll showed that the recent headlines on Ukraine, surrounding President Donald Trump’s calls for the Bidens to be investigated and the Democrats’ push to impeach him over those calls, are having a negative impact on the former vice president.

Meanwhile, the poll showed that Trump was not being significantly affected by Democrat calls to impeach him after a whistleblower complaint expressed concerns he was withholding military aid in exchange for help with the 2020 elections.

Seems about 55% support the House’s impeachment inquiry... But Trump’s job approval rating has actually risen in October, despite calls for his impeachment.

This is hurting Biden more than Trump. As I suspected it might. Do you think Biden is guilty/not guilty? Please explain your reasoning. We obviously have the video evidence of corruption but I am curious why the left is so quick to dismiss it.

IDB/TIPP gets an A- pollster rating, so this is worth noting. But it also doesn't surprise me.
The senate would start on that if they were smart.
 
From that same poll: IBD/TIPP found that 50% see Trump's actions as rising to the level of an impeachable offense, compared to 46% who don't.

I'm OK with both. Who's with me?

So, no Biden and Trump get's impeached...win/win!

We should be investigating Biden’s involvement with Ukraine.
 
Biden is down to a two point lead over Warren. Biden's path to the nomination is already gone.

Trump has lost 2% in the polls since the revelations about his call with Ukraine. He seems to have had a dead cat bounce of about .3% in the last day or so. So Trump is down 1.7% since the Ukraine controversy hit the front pages.

People support the Biden inquiry because we all support the idea of investigating wrong doing. The problem with the Biden poll is that most people don't really understand the issue... that there really is no issue with the Biden's that is even remotely consistent with Trump's portrayal thereof.

Thats one of the reasons I am ok investigating Biden. Trump's version of events do not line up with available facts.

If either get the presidency. Then its time to look forward to 4 more years of crazy conspiracy theories (which both sides do these days, its annoying) and people generally freaking out.

Please provide your perspective on the Biden situation. The who what when where and why. Im interested to hear your take.

Also - what are these fantasies Trump created? Do you think Trump is guilty?

Because we have Biden on video admitting to the firing
And a sworn affidavit from said prosecutor who said he was fired for the exact reason.

That's my take on it at least. I cant see how he can worm his way out of this.

Biden's run is coming to an end. Its just a matter of a few days now. In the court of public opinion he is finished.

The trouble for that is DoJ finding something to investigate. Anyone who knows the facts knows that there's nothing there. But if they do, so be it. I certainly don't care if they investigate.

The poll results indicate more than anything how badly Joe Biden has handled this. Admittedly I don't watch cable news, but there should be surrogates out there defending the guy, explaining why Shokin needed to be gone, how it didn't help Hunter because Shokin had been the best protector of Hunter's boss for a while, how Shokin shut down the UK investigation, and allowed $23 million to be released, etc. So all I've seen clips of is Trump lemmings throwing out a bunch of BS with nothing from Joe or his defenders.

It's one reason why I don't think he'll win the nomination and would have been a poor choice for it, even before this stuff came up. He's really NOT good at this stuff. His last runs were terrible.

I've read that "sworn affidavit" and it's a joke. I don't know who put Shokin up to it but it reads like the work of a moron like Jacob Wohl. It's seriously terrible. If you read it, apparently Joe Biden as VP controlled everything, not just U.S. foreign policy but the reformers in Ukraine, Shokin's fellow prosecutors, the rest of the western world, including the UK, and therefore everything bad that happened to Shokin, corrupt bootlicker to the oligarchs, is BIDEN BIDEN BIDEN BIDEN BIDEN'S!!!! FAULT.

Do you think you could be influenced by some liberal media damage control here? I mean the affidavit was written up well before this whole impeachment thing popped into our radar. I personally take the affidavit as credible because: there is no reason for the him to lie (about why he was fired) and it matches up exactly with the video evidence of Biden admitting to strongarming Ukraine.

In any event, we need to play close attention this week. There should be some very interesting political bombshells that reshape the landscape. I predict Biden will be done by the end of the week. Need to do more research on Adam Schiff. Trump claims he is public enemy #1 = so what can you guys tell me about him? Trustworthy? Has he committed treason already in the impeachment proceedings? Who is this guy?

I agree Barnacle. Someone 78 years old and suffers a heart attack during the primary let alone the national election is going to bow out.
However his support will go overwhelmingly to Warren. Bernie however raised a load of cash this third quarter which to me shows the overwhelming far left change in the Democratic party is real.

Biden has been losing steam for weeks because of his gaffs. Even members of his own party and the Democratic arm of the MSM have been wondering if he has it all upstairs to continue. Now he has been faced with scrutiny over everything Ukraine and he isn't handling it well. At this point I will say Biden is toast also. In the past couple of weeks while Warren climbed in the polls in early voting states Biden's campaign started spinning that Biden not winning early primary votes in Iowa or New Hampshire wasn't a problem because his firewall was in South Carolina. What? A state that will likely go to Trump in 2020? Really?

To me it looks like Warren's to lose.

I suspect that Warren will overtake Biden, and the health issues Sanders had (although minor) will be a concern.

Agreed. I think the numbers are higher for a Biden probe because hardcore Trump supporters aren't willing to address corruption on their side.
