It turns out the complaint is nothing more than a rumor reported by someone in the intelligence community. Buried in a lengthy CNN article about the complaint is the following paragraph:

The whistleblower didn't have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower's concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration's determination that the complaint didn't fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.

Here's a few questions for you.

Why have Trump, the IC IG, the acting DNI and the DOJ gone balls to the wall to squash this story from its inception?

If there is absolutely no harm, no foul, what was the reason all the above bent over backwards (they still are) to keep the conversations from the House Intelligence Committee?

I don't see anything on CNN today. Could have missed it. The LAT has it hidden towards the bottom of their page with just the original story.

Could be a big fat nothing burger or media could be afraid that once the onion gets peeled, Handsy Joe is in deep ****.
