The Whisteblower: Trump is a national security threat

Considering all the anonymity involved in this case so far, I'm beginning to wonder if this is yet another propaganda/misinformation effort by those behind the scenes.

Consider history sir: Snowden was not anonymous, nor was Kiriakou or Binney or Drake or a boatload of others.

Yes, working within channels is supposed to work, but it doesn't. A real whistleblower like Assange or Ellsberg puts his life on the line.

Well, a bit of advice for Mr Trump then: In a system which relies good faith participation, it's much easier to govern when one acts in good faith too.

If this whistleblower story is true, Trump has no business governing America.

Ukraine been a mess ever since the Kiev Maidan Coup. europe for years have promised to beef up Ukraine
with money in the form of loans being the carrot in return for an end to the corrupt society being the stick.

Trump wants to help end the corruption in Ukraine and investigating Biden's son is a good start to that,
his suggestion is good foreign policy. Biden on the other hand was aware of the corruption in Ukraine
and took advantage of it, rather than trying to stem bribery & graft in Ukraine he in fact exploited it!!!

It appears that Hunter Biden will pretty much singlehandedly be the undoing of his Dad's campaign.
That undisciplined, goofy kid of his is going to end up being his final legacy..........and it won't end pretty.

Trump tweets to insult other members of government.
Trump demonizes a current government whistleblower (who blew the whistle against him), that the Republican IG agrees is urgent and concerning
Trump apparently blocked access to the whistleblower because it was about his own actions

Trump's own ICIG, a man who he nominated for the position, determined that the "highly partisan" whistleblower's complaint was urgent and that the Intelligence Committee needed to see it.

Hard to see how they're 0 and 21 when 8 people in his circle have been indicted so far. Not to mention the insane amount of scandals which has given the Trump admin the highest turnover in history. Even his sister resigned her judgeship rather than face an ethics investigation for a tax scheme where Donald was the primary beneficiary. The only reason he hasn't been charged with crimes is because he's the president.

I must have missed the part of that video where Obama asks Medvedev to prosecute his political rival -- but thanks for the false equivalence.

What is being discussed is a suspicion that Trump is holding back military aide to the Ukraine until the Ukraine takes actions against Trump's political rival, Joe Biden, which there is no evidence of wrongdoing. One has to be wearing tight political blinders to not see that trading U.S. government funds for a stipulation that the Ukraine will help Trump get re-elected isn't both wrong and the crime of extortion.

Corruption under Russian influence is what caused the coup and Putin has been angling to get Ukraine back ever since. Trump is apparently helping. There is no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden or his son in Ukraine. Trump is trying to get them to make stuff up in exchange for aid and that is criminal. It does settle the question of whether Trump is afraid of facing Biden in 2020 though. He knows he is toast if Biden is the candidate.

That's the same thought process Don lemon at CNN offered this topic. Nobody is afraid of facing Biden,
certainly not Trump nor Bernie or Warren for that matter.
