Sater reportedly “began working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1998, after he was caught in a stock-fraud scheme.” It was Andrew Weissmann who, as supervising assistant U.S. attorney, signed the agreement that brought Sater on as a government informant.

Sater also was reportedly a CIA informant in the mid-2000s for the CIA during his undercover work with Russian military and intelligence officers.

In a June 25, 2019 report, Judicial Watch chief investigative reporter Micah Morrison highlighted that:Beginning in late 2015, Sater repeatedly tried to arrange for [Trump attorney Michael] Cohen and candidate Trump, as representatives of the Trump Organization, to travel to Russia to meet with Russian government officials and possible financing partners.

Though his proposal appears to have been rejected by the Trump campaign, Sater persisted.

Sater has reportedly cooperated with the Democrat's separate investigation, led by House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff.

All the stench a feces of the Deep State Democrats is going to be aired in an election year... and Trump is going to provide a political beating as only he can.

Good. Traitor Trump deserves to be spied on by the FBI.

Doesn't the FBI plant agents into criminal organizations?

If Sater was a spy for the FBI then why didn't he co-operate with the intelligence committee?

"...During the 2015-16 American presidential campaign, Sater worked with Michael Cohen, former attorney for The Trump Organization, to broker a deal to build a Trump Tower Moscow, asserting to Cohen that he could boost Trump's election prospects through his Russian contacts.[12] On June 21, 2019, Sater was issued a subpoena by the House Intelligence Committee after he refused a request to testify voluntarily.[13][14] On July 9, 2019, Sater appeared before the House Intelligence Committee, but repeatedly withheld testimony and documents concerning the details of a false joint defense agreement and thus remains under subpoena.[15][16]..."

You left out Sater's long history working with and for Trump and the Russian mob and suspicion of money laundering and Trump's history of working with the American mob and Sater's involvement. Or Trump's being part of a grand jury investigation and the reason Sater skated on being indicted and why they let dropped the investigation for the time being. You failed to mention WHY an FBI agent might have been involved might have been working undercover in the Trump Organization. All you have is what your Q buddies tell you to believe.

Read deep and broad. There is a great deal of information available on the Internet if you want to take the time to read it. By repeating what you've been told out of context is like dropping the needle in the middle of a record and believing you heard the entire album. You didn't.

Lol at Judicial Watch. Also lol at the dunderheads who think an "FBI spy" is some sort of condemnation of the Bureau without any sense of self awareness.

there should be at least fifty FBI spies not loyal to Barr who are embedded now.

Not much for the rule of law, are you?

Lookit dis Trump supporter trying to lecture someone on following the law.

Don't worry. Barr and Durham are working on that "WHY".

Interestingly, when you already know a presidential campaign (correctly) believes that a foreign power is interfering on their behalf in an American election and does nothing about it, you probably want to send someone undercover to look for more.

There's probably fifty spies not loyal to Trump, but they work for Putin.
The intel services almost unanimously believe, and with good reason, that the Kremlin has eyes and ears in every square inch of the Trump White House, from the Oval Office to the Situation Room.

“Since January 20, we’ve assumed that the Kremlin has ears inside the SITROOM (Situation Room),” a Senior Pentagon intelligence official is quoted as saying. Adding, “There’s not much the Russians don’t know at this point.”

“In light of this, and out of worries about the White House’s ability to keep secrets, some of our spy agencies have begun withholding intelligence from the Oval Office.”

if that isn't CT, it's scary. i hope that we come out on the other end and are able to find out the extent of it.

It's easy. There were reasons to believe they were breaking the law, such as Junior's meeting with the Russians.

Don't you think investigating criminality is a good thing for the FBI to do?

Not CT, I forget who it was that said it but it was a fairly big story the day they said it.
Basically, since January 20th 2017, intel has assumed that Putin sees and hears everything said or done in the White House.

And with Sergei Kisliyak being treated to an instant US press blackout (Russian press attending) during his Oval Office visit and Trump's US press blackout at the meeting with Putin at the 2017 Group of 20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, it's a safe bet that intel's judgment is well justified. And Trump didn't just black out the US press, he also blacked out all US government officials, even our own intel, even our own national security, even his own staff.

Vladimir Putin knows pretty much anything and everything Trump says or does, and whatever he doesn't know, I am sure he can pull it up later seeing as how Donnie insists on using unsecured phones and private email.

We are "ass-in-the-air-spread-eagle" on the exam table, and Putin is our proctologist.
Now relax, take a deep breath, and cough.

OMG. There was a Martian in the Trump campaign! Those sneaky NASA loving Dems!

Yes, Trump is going to humiliate himself and his mouth-breathing cultists as only he can.

No, that is not what you would do. But since you think it is and we know the Russians will try to interfere in this election, you must approve of the idea that the Trump Justice Department insert spies into the campaigns of each of the top democrat contenders starting, well, right now. Right?

There's another option, though : pretend that it's an invention of the libs, and enjoy how it pisses them off!

So tell me...when was a "criminal investigation" ever opened by the FBI against Trump or his campaign?

Probably about the time they sent in an undercover agent.

If there's credible allegations of criminality.

He probably already does. But you're against that, right?
