An explosion occurred in the Novosibirsk Center for Virology "Vector"

Or, it could be that someone sabotaging the Russian military projects. China?? The Ukraine?

Could be. Either way, I'd sure like to know!

One of the largest collections of deadly viruses in the world just exploded in Russia. The mayor of the city where this happened says that everything is okey dokey. I see no reason not to believe him. Russia has always been very forthcoming about biological and radioactive disasters in the past.

On this I'll agree with you Cardinal. The Russians did such a bang up job on Chernobyl, this is just the biological version of the same.

That is not an 'american source' btw. It is the russian own news for the american market.

eta: Looks American to me... I dont care who funds it.

RT America is a U.S.-based pay television news channel which is part of the RT network, a global multilingual television news network based in Moscow, Russia, and funded by the Russian government.

The content is controlled by the Russian government. It is highlyh pro russian, and promotes conspiracy theories. Vet your sources. There is a lot of misinformation coming from that site. It's the kind of site that if you find something interesting, confirm it with other sources.

Have CNN and MSNBC found a way to blame Trump yet? Or do we need to wait for the NYT to explain how this is part of a Trump/Putin plot to undermine our elections.

You are arguing semantics. It's still a site for AMERICANS and no need to translate like in the O/P...and I see nothing in what I posted above that they got wrong. Do you?
Of course you don't... you're just splitting hairs.

Tell you what, if you are worried about misinformation coming from the media, try fixing The New York Times.

And good luck with that... :2wave:

Not an equivalent. You got a site that is dedicated to Russian propaganda verses an actual news paper.

A reader of The Stand, I see.

Hmmmm........I was thinking more like "Under a Graveyard Sky"

John Ringo's zombie apocalypse series (zombies as a result of biological warfare)

Prove there was propaganda in what I posted above... my first post in the thread.
The onus is on you to discredit what I linked.

Have fun!

Don't stay up all night trying to win some ridiculous, elusive and inane point though... I won't be back to this thread.

I'm bored to death watching you try so hard to be right.

It doesn't matter. Their reputation is so bad that it's always better to find a different source.

Sigh, Laura San Giacomo...what a winsome fetching lass she was.

The zombies we are dealing with are a result of weaponized political warfare, weaponized historical revisionism turned them into what they are today.

If you succeed in destroying the meaning of democracy, destroying the meanings of fascism and socialism are a cinch.
That's the beauty of orwellian newspeak, destroying a language gives one increased control over the ability of a society to think for itself and discern elemental truth from lies.

“The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use them.” ---Philip K. Dick

Wow, that is a really niche recall.

I tried rewatching that a few years ago, and I hate to say, it didn't age well.

But I think the Black Plague sort of checked off that box of that Biblical promise.

"The Black Death, 'Great Plague' is estimated to have killed 30% to 60% of Europe's population. In total, the plague may have reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million to 350–375 million in the 14th century. It took 200 years for the world population to recover to its previous level. "

That was some serious biblical stuff.

"For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night."

According to the Bible, of the end, “not even Jesus will know, nor the angels in Heaven.” That’s what cracks me up about all these “end of the world” people, wearing sandwich boards and ringing a bell.

 Yeah right.

I'm literally wondering if I should go in for a smallpox vaccination. I have no goddamn idea if I'm still immune or not. I mean, the only time I'd ever have to think of such a thing is in the highly unlikely event that a super top secret military laboratory containing smallpox blew up or something.
