[W:369]Kavanaugh accused of more unwanted sexual contact by former classmate

In other words, you believe that

1. There should be a statute of limitations on sexual assault

2. A man with enough privilege should be immune from scrutiny against sexual assault.

Thank you, Turtle. That may be the most honest comment I've seen you make about Brett Kavanaugh and sexual assault.
Ahem. Phy you didn't answer the question.

neither of those actions were seen as "sexual assault" in the jurisdictions they allegedly took place in in that time period.

and why are you afraid to answer the question. If Two door ford brought a charge more than a year after the groping allegedly happened, it would have been dismissed as beyond the statute of limitations since the offense would have been some form of "juvenile delinquency"

the alleged exposure was indecent exposure which was not a felony in New Haven and most likely would not have been even charged by the Yale Police Department.

Too late for you to backtrack, TD. Your comment that social privilege should earn a man immunity from scrutiny is now there for all to see. :)

So how do you feel about rehabilitation? Should someone who has served their time and changed their ways always carry the stigma of being a criminal?

Irrelevant to this case, because Kavanaugh now sits on the highest court in the land.

I was asking how you felt. You don't have to really dodge the question. I think that's the point Turtle was making.

Asked and answered already. :)

Now since I did answer it, do you believe that people in high enough positions should be immune from justice?

1. This is your position, though in the Juanita Broaddrick case it was aggravated sexual battery (rape) not just assault.
2. Also your position.

Can you link to your answer. I don't have the time to wade through 80 some pages of responses.

Thats a whole other aspect to all of this being ignored by many.

Who leaked confidential information? Why isnt that being investigated aggressively?

Good unanswered questions. Perhaps, that investigation back then and now has been and still is viewed as being unimportant.

Roseann:)

Dismissed for your lying. :2wave:

I already gave you an answer to your question. You just didn't like it. :)

Now are you going to answer mine or are you just going to play games?

Now you're just being dishonest. Ok.

Now you're just being dishonest. Ok.
So game-playing it is. Got it. Feel free to play games with someone who is willing to go round and round with you. :2wave:

Liberal irony is the thickest irony.

The jury disagrees with you.

Really?

Juror B29, a 36-year-old Puerto Rican mother of eight children, who was living in Chicago at the time of the shooting, was interviewed about the trial on July 25.[223] She said, "George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can't get away from God. And at the end of the day, he's going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with."[224] She said that as the jury began deliberations, she wanted to convict Zimmerman of second-degree murder, and she held to her position that Zimmerman should be found guilty even after all the other jurors had decided to find him not guilty.[223] However, she said that after nine hours of deliberations, she realized that there was not enough evidence to convict Zimmerman under Florida law: "As the law was read to me, if you have no proof that he killed him intentionally, you can't say he's guilty....you can't put the man in jail even though in our hearts we felt he was guilty."[224] The juror said that she felt like she owed Martin's parents an apology because she felt she had let them down.[223]

Does it feel good to defend such a person as George Zimmerman?

Really?

Does it feel good to put words in my mouth? Feeling good about your dishonesty?

Think whatever you want about the TM verdict, but my point stands.
The jury disagrees with you.

Your "point" was that the jury did not convict Zimmerman. I provided an explanation straight from a juror's mouth as to why that occurred.

perhaps you will like to expand on how justice was served? Or does your contract limit you to one liners and cheap shots?

There you go ahead attempting to put words in my mouth.
I'll tell you what. Go discuss with someone else more on your level.

You could not possibly rationally explain how I put words in your mouth. Your words posted here are as plain as day.

I generally much prefer discussing issues with those more on my level. I was giving you a chance to step up, but you continue your endless loop of nonsensical answers and
accusations that have no connection to reality. I will also point out that you chose to begin this little discussion, which was fine without your input, with very little to add to the table.

Have a good night.

I'm so glad that I sat out of this thread. Because watching all of you just make asses of yourselves over something that was most definitely a made up accusation, was just too much of a temptation.

Why is it that the regressives on the left, keep doing this to themselves?

1) Why?
2) Why hasn't Ford pressed charges?
2) strawman
4) Examine your own moral compass before casting stones

1)Because she's a woman, and "sniff" deserves to have this "whine" handed to her on a silver platter.
2)Because it's supposed to be done for her.. "cries in deep sadness while looking as skinny jeans on Wish"
3)Because straw manning is in this year..

4)... really? You're asking for way too much of anyone in that camp at this point.

The president was front and center in the birther movement. He is also a massive liar. I am not a Trump supporter. Wanting truth over lies and ethics over corruption shouldn’t involve me believing Obama was a secret Muslim, Kenyan born Marxist, hellbent on destroying America within. I don’t believe he personally wire tapped Trump without evidence. I also currently trust American intelligence over what Putin says.

Ok?

If Obama arranged to meet the Taliban at Camp David, the tea party would have freaked out. If Obama met the leader of North Korea and lied about the nuclear threat, said he feel in love with Kim Jong UN, again, you would have wanted his head.

Unsubstantiated assumptions. Not sure their relevance.

I don’t need any media to define truth from fact for me. I think for myself. I am not a network media news drone, and I am not too lazy to pick up a book, to watch news from around the world, or to keep my self informed. I am not afraid to gain perspective or better understanding. I am kind of person who listens to neo nazi podcasts, just because I want to understand their fears, world views, and goals. I want to understand the world. I feel only revulsion towards people who try to dictate and control how others see the world. I am not a supporter of MSM or Fox. They are both fundamentally flawed just like your entire post is.

At core, I am just a person who sees reason to be concerned for the direction of the country. No, it’s not entirely the GOPs fault, and it can become worse the more the corruption, lying, and party first mentality becomes normalized.

So, your position is that this is all a nothing burger, correct?

No, my position is that of all the areas of concern about Kavanaugh: sexually inappropriate behavior, ethical lapses, political hackery, anti-democratic views, poor quality judgments: accepting very large sums of money from undisclosed sources for undisclosed reasons just before you are nominated to be a judge in the highest and lost court of appeals is corruption and should be addressed first.
