[W:369]Kavanaugh accused of more unwanted sexual contact by former classmate

Questions about whether Kavanaugh assaulted women or not, or was a political hack or not, or whether his judgements are intelligent or not or whether his political bent is too far right or left are irrelevant in comparison to the most essential question of all.

Why did all of Kavanaugh's considerable debts magically disappear just before his nomination? It's not magic when a $260,000 debt, country club dues and a mortgage exist one day and not the next. Someone did something to make that happen. Who did it and why?

Nothing else matters until that is explained.

That is interesting. I'm curious what the answer is too.

Isn't it going to be hilarious when the next Democrat is accused of sexual harassment/assault and the Democrats here clutching their pearls about whataboutism won't be able to stop bringing up Trump and Kavanaugh? Gotta love debating politics.

We already had President Clinton. Nobody is personally obligated to defend a president’s poor conduct based on political party affiliation, and you are the loudest person in this thread when it comes whataboutism. It’s not a political tactic anybody should honestly admire, because it implies a serious lack in core, personal values.

Of course there will will always be people doing it, and they deserve to be labeled hacks

I haven't read the whole thread as yet, but if it hasn't yet been mentioned that the alleged victim has not as yet corroborated the NY Times story, maybe I'm the first to do so.

Just ONE (more) investigation!!!!!!!!

Until the >truth< is revealed!!!!!!

Is that so unreasonable?????

:donkeyfla

Better one which gets it right that a legion of half assed efforts that gets it wrong.

It is disingenuous to imply that there is anything for the FBI to investigate. It’s just more of the same. Random people make claims about events alleged to have taken place 36 years ago and have zero evidence to support their accusations.

Yes - it is more of the same. More of the same accusations against Kavanaugh. And that is why we need to thoroughly investigate.

And a report from the victim of sexual impropriety is evidence.

Kavanaugh accused of more unwanted sexual contact by former classmate: report | TheHill

This latest bombshell is yet another reason why this guy should have been vetted better. Everyone knew the one-week FBI "investigation" was a sham.

It will not surprise me if more survivors come out against Rapey McRapeface.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! All found to be again false. The woman says she doesn't remember it happening. Sound familiar. None of it is true. My feeling is Kavanaugh should sue for liable and slander the New York Times as well as all the fake media that reported this as fact and continues to resist the facts it was a lie, again. Enough is enough. You and your fake news and Democrats have lost all credibility. The Boy Who Cried Wolf is the story that fits your side. Really sad. Very sad. The left has resorted to the Morlocks.

Yea, if you want to find out what's really going on follow the money. That's why I've always been wondering why The Clinton Foundation . . . Oh my bad. There I go again. ;)

Accusations don’t deserve to be believed merely for having been made. None of the accusers have offered any evidence that any such thing ever took place let alone any evidence that Kavanaugh is guilty of anything. So again, what exactly are you asking the FBI to investigate?

I thought the NYT retracted the story.

Theres a strong possibly that if the fbi thoroughly investigated her claims she would be in prison. She should be grateful that the fbi didnt do thier job

What needs to be remembered is... That Ford wanted to remain anonymous.

Perhaps, her original intent was to always remain anonymous and simply expected her story to be used to smear him just enough to hopefully damage his character enough to prevent him from becoming a Supreme Court Justice nominee.

No F.B.I. investigations. No appearing before Congress. No fear of perjury charges.

Then... oops she is no longer anonymous and everybody knows her name and her story becomes Big News!

Roseann:)

In 2016, Kavanaugh reported having between $60,000 and $200,000 in debt accrued over three credit cards and a loan. Each credit card held between $15,000 and $50,000 in debt, and a Thrift Savings Plan loan was between $15,000 and $50,000.
The credit card debts and loan were either paid off or fell below the reporting requirements in 2017, according to the filings, which do not require details on the nature or source of such payments. [White House spokesman Raj Shah] told The Post that Kavanaugh’s friends reimbursed him for their share of the baseball tickets and that the judge has since stopped purchasing the season tickets.(from the Washington Post)

Season tickets for infield box seats =$4,838 divided into $200,000 = about 40 season tickets
Season tickets for Club Level seats =$5,576. divided into $200,000 = about 32 season tickets
Season tickets for top line seats are $9,578. divided into $200,000 =20 season tickets

Kavanaugh was buying season tickets for 20 to 40 people? And nobody thought to ask why?

It was reported that a ton of dark money was pouring in to get Kavanaugh confirmed. A lot of it went into midterm election ads, reving up the right wing base to vote. I remember the propaganda was funny, because it focused on the due process argument. It was a massive shift away from the lock her up chants.

I would assume, like most elected officials, he got the cash from donors. They essentially take the money as political favor to make agreed upon legal decisions.

To influence the court’s composition, Whitehouse said, a combined $34 million in "dark money" went toward both blocking President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland and confirming President Donald Trump’s two Supreme Court picks, Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.

Don't know and don't care if Kavanaugh exposed his penis in the mid-80s. It was wrong if he did, but sadly that happened a lot in the 80s. I saw it first hand in college. I know a lot of men who are successful today did things in the 80s they aren't proud of. It was a very different time.

I dislike Kavanaugh because of his vile performance as a nasty and spitting partisan during the confirmation hearings. I contrast him to Gorsuch who conducted himself as a professional and an adult. Kavanaugh should not have been the nominee in my opinion, but my opinion has nothing to do with what he may or may not have done 35 years ago.

“A nasty and spitting partisan during the confirmation hearings...”

Yeah, if someone accused you of vile acts you did not commit, and tried to destroy your name and reputation in front of the nation... you’d sit there and take it like the tough, magnanimous broad you are.

Spare me.

The vile Democrats stooped into the deepest depths of the cesspool with nary a qualm, and brought out the most feeble of witnesses to **** on a guy who spent his life doing good. They were all frauds, and this latest hit by the vile Propagandists at the NYT is a fraud too.

**** them and all their supporters. Folks who condone this crap are the lowest of the low.

No evidence at all and the supposed woman attacked says, no recollection of this. Another lame attempt by the democrats to gain control of the court so they can legislate from the bench. If democrats regain power they will for sure ruin the country.

I didn't read it, but the word "correction" has been used here. Not sure that's the same thing.
Maybe not. Thought I heard (or read) somewhere that they (NYT) are eating crow.

The accusations made against Kavanaugh need to be thoroughly investigated. They can start with ALL the compaintaints as well as ALL the witnesses who have come forward and many have been ignored.

The FBI is still investigating this issue: a very thorough investigation which is why I've always wondered why the Kavanaugh investigations were so ............

Why do people want to ruin the country with marxism? Hasn't it hurt the countries its been tried in already?

ROTFLOL... politifact has a difficult time finding their anus with both hands while standing on a mirrored floor.

Fact: McConnell was fulfilling the wishes and words of Joe Biden. Namely, no appointing a Justice to SCOTUS in an election year. The wishes of the Left.

Fact: Nobody on the Left expected Trump to win... but Trump played a masterful card by announcing his list of potential nominees to the court during the election. This was thought of in the past as a bad idea... as it gave opponents something to aim at.

They did.

The people decided.

Trump won... Leftists and their Goebbels Media still cannot accept the election, and Trump has exposed the Goebbels Media for the unscrupulous Propagandists they are.

It looks like Trump will have 2 more picks. Perhaps 3. Wonderful.

Who says you have to take the high end of the between numbers? How about if you take the low end of the between numbers ...

Season tickets for infield box seats =$4,838 divided into $60,000 = about 12 season tickets
Season tickets for Club Level seats =$5,576. divided into $60,000 = about 11 season tickets
Season tickets for top line seats are $9,578. divided into $60,000 =6 season tickets

So, why was he buying season tickets for 6 to 12 people?

His finances are at the most - charitable very suspicious. At worst - they stink.

Maybe he simply liked them.

Democrats tried every dirty trick, and even introduced a few new ones.

“Nobody thought to ask why?” you ask.

Considering all the oppo research, and the nothing burger of lies and deceits... The most obvious reason is that dog did not hunt.
