But all you care about is getting libs? If the Democratic Party develops the same mentality, America will be lost,

I am a citizen of America first and foremost. Politics and political winning shouldn’t come at the expense of honesty and ethics. I want a government that’s honest and free of widespread corruption with a functioning non weaponized DOJ, matter who is in charge

what should have been investigated when two Door Ford couldn't remember where it happened, when it happened and so forth. And the other claim of Kavanaugh "exposing himself" in college? OMG that's akin to mass murder!!!!

Don't know and don't care if Kavanaugh exposed his penis in the mid-80s. It was wrong if he did, but sadly that happened a lot in the 80s. I saw it first hand in college. I know a lot of men who are successful today did things in the 80s they aren't proud of. It was a very different time.

I dislike Kavanaugh because of his vile performance as a nasty and spitting partisan during the confirmation hearings. I contrast him to Gorsuch who conducted himself as a professional and an adult. Kavanaugh should not have been the nominee in my opinion, but my opinion has nothing to do with what he may or may not have done 35 years ago.

I would add that he should have been honest about what he did as a younger man when questioned about it. He could have claimed youth, stupidity, bad judgement and drinking as mitigating factors that he has worked hard to put out of his life as he matured. A previous sincere confession would have immunized himself against these charges today.

The NYT story left out a VERY important fact. The woman (referred to as the "victim") has made clear she has no recollection of the event ever happening. He does not need to immunize himself from the false accusations of the NYT story.
 
No big surprise but the New York Times has totally walked back this whole story this morning......and as I had figured out........its just a bunch of made up partisan BS.

The president was front and center in the birther movement. He is also a massive liar. I am not a Trump supporter. Wanting truth over lies and ethics over corruption shouldn’t involve me believing Obama was a secret Muslim, Kenyan born Marxist, hellbent on destroying America within. I don’t believe he personally wire tapped Trump without evidence. I also currently trust American intelligence over what Putin says.

If Obama arranged to meet the Taliban at Camp David, the tea party would have freaked out. If Obama met the leader of North Korea and lied about the nuclear threat, said he feel in love with Kim Jong UN, again, you would have wanted his head.

I don’t need any media to define truth from fact for me. I think for myself. I am not a network media news drone, and I am not too lazy to pick up a book, to watch news from around the world, or to keep my self informed. I am not afraid to gain perspective or better understanding. I am kind of person who listens to neo nazi podcasts, just because I want to understand their fears, world views, and goals. I want to understand the world. I feel only revulsion towards people who try to dictate and control how others see the world. I am not a supporter of MSM or Fox. They are both fundamentally flawed just like your entire post is.

At core, I am just a person who sees reason to be concerned for the direction of the country. No, it’s not entirely the GOPs fault, and it can become worse the more the corruption, lying, and party first mentality becomes normalized.

You do understand that an honest investigation is not politically motivated, don’t you?

I don’t want this country to go though such a nonsense charade every time a person is nominated to the Supreme Court. If both parties continue to act in such an appalling manner, and DOJ is blocked from fulfilling their constitution duty for political reasons, the entire country could lose trust in the Supreme Court and every member on the bench.

I realize there are many Americans who don’t see a problem. They only want political wins for their party. Some are eager to see RBG die. But I actually care about the integrity of the process and the American public’s faith in the court. Most Americans already have a very low opinion of Congress, and don’t trust Congress to function. It’s not far fetched to think the dysfunction could very easily creep up to the Supreme Court. Congress is so dysfunctional, they practically want the Supreme Court to legislate. Allowing the Supreme Court to legislate is convenient for them, because it saves them from the blow back of unpopular decision making, being primaries, or voted out.
