He can’t find a fit male for the job? I find it hard to believe. If somebody ever treated his daughters the way women say he has treated them, then maybe he will understand

Classic damned if you do/don't...

You think that the word "mansplaining" is sexist?

Shows you don't understand what mansplaining is at all.

Shocker, that. Most men don't.

I know it's sexist.

Incorrect - I know that it's a profoundly sexist term used by misandrists.

You're shocked by your own incorrect conclusion? More misandry/sexism...

Deep down, part of him knows that defending an indefensible person is wrong. But, that spark is tiny and being smothered by hubris. What the republicans did is, once again, shameful.

In fairness to Ford, she does appear to be somewhat mentally ill...

...and if by Republicans you mean Democrats, I must concur.

Doesn't help that he has a man crush on Kavanaugh, either.

Did you sexually assault several people, Moot? Because this goes farther than puking on the teacher's shoes at the dance, or urinating on the away team's goalpost.

This is serious, and the victims carry with them the affects of this for the rest of their lives.
Well i just heard something very interesting. The story is that while he was exposed someone shoved a female into him and she grabbed his junk. If thats true would that not make her the one who assaulted him and him the victim of sexual assault. What should be done to her for sexually assaulting a future supreme court justice?

We need to lock up anyone who ever went to Yale ASAP.

No. Stupid question.

What else do you have?

What should be done to her for sexually assaulting a future supreme court justice?
Why does defending what Trump does mean people resort to saying such remarkably stupid things?

And, our oaf-in-chief just tweeted: "Brett Kavanaugh should start suing people for liable..."

Liable....oh my we have a very stupid president indeed....

I haven't read this entire thread yet so pardon me if this has already been discussed. When the Times broke this story did they also report the names of the two FBI officials who told them about the Kavanaugh allegation?

Which 'victim' are you referring to? The alleged complainant is a MAN...not the alleged victim, Blasey Fords story was so full of **** that you CANT POSSIBLY have bought into it, and the 6 other accusers were found to have all been outright lying. Undeniably...by their own admission...lying.

This is and always has been just another idiot leftist witch hunt trying to block a conservative Supreme Court nominee. Those leading the charge as much as admit their entire motivation is that its fair play for Gorsuch.

Ummm.....errrr......rhymes with fail, amirite!?

Oh no, now you are gonna make him angry and condescending, because you didn't have parents that got you into such an important school.

What planet are you on?

The incident is being described as a sexual assault. If it turns out that she was the one that initiated the contact without his permission, that makes her the assaulter and him the victim.

Now what, a complete reversal that its a sexual assault?

Seems like complete BS to me

Without know the names of the supposed FBI agents who told The NY Times about the "uninvestigated" sexual allegation, smells like political :bs to me as well.

Like I asked earlier, do we have the names of these two FBI agents? Or is this another story the Times is going to have apologize for?

In fairness to Ford, she does appear to be somewhat mentally ill...

...and if by Republicans you mean Democrats, I must concur.
Its always been rather amazing that the woman can get the who, what, when, where, how, and every detail about the incident wrong on numerous occasions, have the instance rebutted by everyone she say was in attendance including the woman...and yet leftists are just full on convinced that it was the TRUTH by golly!!!

Perhaps... Just maybe..... It is possible.... That the FBI saw no credence in the claim.

Precisely!

Also, just because two unnamed FBI officials supposedly told the Times that the claim was not investigated doesn't mean it wasn't.
When I think of the two unnamed FBI officials who told the Times about this I think maybe 1) there are no FBI officials or 2) they might be partisan hacks comparable to Strzok and Page.

Time will tell, I guess.

What planet are you on?
The one based in reality. You should try it.

The incident is being described as a sexual assault.
Which it is.
If it turns out that she was the one that initiated the contact without his permission
Do you not even think or read the things you post?
The story is that while he was exposed someone shoved a female into him and she grabbed his junk.
If she was shoved into him, then she didn't initiate contact, she was forcibly, and against her will, pushed into the man who willingly exposed himself to her.

Stop saying such remarkably stupid things. The fact Kavanaugh was exposing himself is already potentially criminal. Her getting shoved into him doesn't make her a sexual perpetrator and only a moron of epic proportions would continue to claim otherwise.

Now what, a complete reversal that its a sexual assault?
No, it's you saying incredibly stupid things. Just stop.

When did the supposed assault occur?

The friend, Leland Keyser, who allegedly was at the house couldn't even back Ford's account because remember the house party where the misconduct allegedly occurred.

I'm not saying that Ford's account is fake, I'm saying there is not enough there there to have kept Kavanaugh off the bench.

A few takeaways:

1)The nation owes Dr. Ford an apology.
2)An investigation needs to be opened immediately into why the FBI did not do the job that Trump officials claimed was taking place.
3)A likely sexual predator now has a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court.
4)Kavanaugh needs to be impeached at the first opportunity. Resigning is out of the question because that would require a moral compass of some kind, and let's face it, the GOP is all out of moral compasses.

On point #2, the FBI was only allowed to investigate Dr. Ford's story about the assault at the party. Nothing else. It wasn't the FBI's fault that it was so limited. Whatever vetting took place before the nomination was inadequate, though. That should definitely be looked at.

There is no need to falsely discredit Blasey-Ford ... she managed to discredit herself just fine - and all by herself.

Her friend, Leyland, who allegedly was along with Ford at the house that evening, didn't give any meat to her version of events.
She couldn't remember any of it.
