Sarah Palin’s husband, Todd Palin, has reportedly filed for divorce from the former Alaska governor and the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee.

He cited an “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.” The couple has been married for 31 years.

Todd hung in there for 31 years. Even those that formerly praised Palin as a brilliant politician later recanted.

I feel sorry for the family.

What does 31 years of marriage and political beliefs have to do with anything? Sounds like they are having communication issues, not political ones. And, is it anyone's business? There are plenty of Democrats who have divorced. It's simply sad after 31 years. The children are the ones who suffer.

Real deploables, they are.

I felt sorry for the younger ones who Sarah used as props on the campaign trail.

You could see how miserable they were and how Sarah was an horrifically selfish parent.

It really bothered me.

I never liked her as a politician and would never vote for her, however I would hunt or fish with her and drink a beer around a campfire...

The eldest was already in the army to avoid jail.

The daughter was already knocked up and into drugs and booze.

Sarah had already given birth at 44 years old.

Publicity did not corrupt the family, Sarah already had.

It happens...Some married people change, and move in different directions away from one another. The kids grow up, move out and there is no longer a reason for couples like this to stay together especially if they can't stand one another. No doubt they've tried to reconcile differences. When it proves impossible, for some divorce is a good option.

I'm not a public figure. I also am not part of the evil, hateful ignorant right like she is. She lied about the ACA containing death panels, she lied about Obama "palling around with terrorists". She wasn't aware that the prime minister, not the queen was the head of state of Great Britain. She's part of the disease that created the trump culture that's destroying this nation's standing in the world.

LOL sucks for them it didn't work out, but every time I hear her name I giggle thinking of the unfortunate interview in which they were loping off turkey heads in the background.
