    From the article.

The Air Force confirmed that seven crew members stayed at Turnberry en route to Kuwait, but said “it did not appear” that they stayed at the hotel on the way back. There are more than two dozen hotels in and around Prestwick, but the Air Force said Trump Turnberry was the cheapest option available at the time and below the per diem allowance.

Scotland does seem strange, and out of the way. It's a northern country.

    3. What a fail thread.
The crux of the article: ...Taken together, the incidents raise the possibility that the military has helped keep Trump’s Turnberry resort afloat — the property lost $4.5 million in 2017, but revenue went up $3 million in 2018..."

The issue is whether the President enriched himself at taxpayer expense. That is called corruption. Until recently it was un-American. The article did not say he did; but it does raise good questions for intelligent and vigilant citizens. Why are you dismissing the question? You are in know position to know the answer. Why are not, as a concerned citizen, at least curious?

It's really true, your side, which railed against corruption {that ended up not being corruption} in 2016, look the other way when the corruption is Trump's.
You do realize that their is a difference between lodging expenses and the per diem given to service members when they travel. And hotels all over the world have special discount rates for us government employees. That doesn't make the food or drinks Amy cheaper.

This air crew was not flying in support of the President or of VP Pence but on a routine shipment of supplies to Kuwait

So from appearance the military is funneling members to stay at Trumps resort, on a regular basis, when it was not done before, to support Trump's business
So the left is claiming that the Trump administration is telling service members what hotel to stay in. Do you have any idea how ridiculous that is

I have literally stayed in hundreds of hotels while in the military and no one higher then my company commander has ever been involved in what hotel I stay at. The vast majority of the time service members pick what ever hotel they feel like staying at. Which I almost guarantee is the case here.
It's just some from the left suffering from TDS

What are you talking about. Service members stay of military lodging all the time. I have done it many times every single year.

You really should stop Trump live rent free in your head.
