63% believe Trump likely to win in 2020… up from 46% in february… growing every month

Seems the excited Democrats forgot a few things:

1. 2016 polling by your organizations were beyond dreadful. Look at the faces of your Goebbels Media to tell you how awful. See below... ROTFLOL...

2. Democrats have fired every lie imaginable since Trump won. You’re out of ammo, and your Goebbels Media exposed so even the deaf, dumb and blind know how incredibly corrupt they’ve become.

That Russian Collusion BS isn’t done yet... Trump is just turning the cannons in your direction. He is going to eviscerate the Goebbels Media and their party.

3. Trump has a record economy and fulfilled a ton of promises and did so in the first 18-months.

4. Why Trump’s Approval Ratings Are Up Among Minorities | The American Spectator Which is why the Goebbels media are in overdrive trying to salvage what they can by aggressively and falsely painting Trump as a racist.

The Democrats are scared ****less. Rightly so.

Wasn’t this a fun evening boys and girls? November 8, 2016. Oh... yes it was. Enjoy.

The Democrats have jumped the shark...

...and their Goebbels Media has fired all their ammo... soon Trump will turn the Russia Collusion guns on the party and their media and destroy them.

In the words of Borat... “nice”... “like”.

One of the most influential books I read in college was "How to Lie with Statistics". This could have been example one. You (or Rasmussen) has misinterpreted the results.

The question was: "IMP3: How likely is it that President Trump will be re-elected?" 29% said "very likely"; 34% said "somewhat likely"

...."Somewhat likely" is not the same thing as "likely"..... it means to 34% of the people, he has a chance. Given that he was shockingly underestimated in 2016, it stands to reason that many people have a worry of a repeat, hence not will to say "no chance", so "somewhat of chance" or "somewhat likely" could get a vote.

"Somewhat likley" is actually a pretty non-descript category. It certainly does not mean that "I think it will happen" Hence, combining "somewhat likely" with "very likely" that Trump will be re-elected is beyond a stretch.

Sorry, but your whole OP is little more than wishful thinking.

Yep, you really should savor that moment as its likely a once in a lifetime event

I think the Dems learned their lesson: their vote does indeed count. They won big in 2018 and in many interim elections because they now understand their votes count. Elections are not a spectator sport.

Well, 2020 ain't 2016.

1) As per above, The Dems that stayed home in 2016 have learned the error of thinking they didn't need to vote because the other guy had their backs;
2) Trump received a lot of "benefit of the doubt" votes in 2016. That doubt is now gone (as evidenced by the cite in the OP);
3) Trump has done nothing to broaden his base; he is only acted to sown division between that base and every else, including those that gave him the benefit of the doubt; and
3) America is pretty tired of the divisiveness and they see Trump as divisive, therefore America is tired of Trump.

I don't want to say Trump has no shot; but his shot isn't very good.

Democrats did quite well in 2018. In past presidencies when the presidents party got slapped down in the mid-terms, like Clinton and Obama did, the presidents moved to the center and still managed to win a second term. Trump hasn't done that. In fact he's now more odious than ever. He's losing the suburbs, formerly a Republican stronghold, hand over fist. His only strength is the economy and he's attacking it with his tariffs and blaming everyone else for the results. He is the gift that keeps on giving. All the Democratic nominee has to do is push him hard enough in a debate and we'll have a full on crazy foaming at the mouth meltdown for all to see.

Dems won in 2018 by having moderates flip gop seats.

Oh I think people here pretty much know how Trump built his coalition. He did it with the help of a white supremacist and managed to make other white nationalists happy by caging immigrants. That build a strong coalition among his base all on its own.

When it comes down to it, republicans and anyone who is conservative will vote for him regardless.

The people you need are those rust belt and politically ambiguous midwesterners that Obama won twice and Clinton failed to win.

When a democrat loses Wisconsin and almost loses Minnesota, they've lost their coalition.

I believe he's likely to win, although I would never vote for him.

Not surprising... as people become more familiar with the current slate of Democrats - a blundering dufus trailed by a gaggle of hard left extremists - it's difficult to put a lot of faith in one of the major candidates.

Is it too late for Democrats to run their beloved Kasich? :giggling:

During the 2016 election you folks were lied to constantly. It showed on the faces of the Goebbels Media on election night. They didn’t look like reporters... they looked like failures.

Well 2020 ain't 2016. There were reasons Trump won then (by the skin of his teeth) that are no longer true. It is now you that is being lied to you in your political porn. You need to lay off the stuff as it will turn your brain to mush.

Talk about Goebbels, that would be your headline. Here is the exact quote from the poll. The latest ScottRasmussen.com survey found that 63% of voters nationwide now believe it is at least somewhat likely President Trump will be successful in next year’s campaign. That’s up from 60% in July, 57% in May, 54% in April, 50% in March and 46% in February. Did you think we wouldn't look at the poll?

Also from the poll which you conveniently ignore Mr. Goebbels.

Other data shows that 47% of voters say they will definitely vote against President Trump in 2020. That number almost matches the president’s 46% job approval rating. If these two numbers remain steady throughout 2020, it could lead to another very close election.

Taylor Swift has entered the chat.

That's what's so disgusting. The left shame Taylor Swift into being more anti-Trump vocal. It's not enough that she is against Trump, she needs to either jump on the anti-Trump train or be bullied for not getting on. So, she succumbs to the intimidation.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to make you fall asleep at night

That was opinion piece was written by someone at the conservative leaning media research center.

Wow, for once an opinion piece isn't the be all end all truth, that you anti-trumpers usually tout them to be.

I thought all polls were BS, now we are supposed to trust them?

There are many sources. I just picked one. The left constantly shames their own side into towing the leftist agenda.

Is denying her agency a conservative thing, or a you thing?

The poll is screaming for a parody counter-poll.

Who do you trust to improve health care?

A) A Democrat
B) A Republican who wants to shake your hand after sticking his finger in his butt.

Who do you trust to address our failing infrastructure?

A) A Democrat
B) A filthy pedophile Republican

Edit: never mind. After reading the full poll in the post above mine, I see that my parody questions aren't actually more ridiculous than the real ones.

"A filthy pedophile Republican" Really? And who would you be targeting and where is your documentation? No TDS here. :giggling:

Uhhh...the presidency isn't determined by a national vote.

That was a typo. A beautiful republican pedophile.

We regret the error.

It is a poll that comes from the founder of Rasmussen polling. What more needs to be said to consider it pure garbage?
