Feds Arrest Neo-Nazi Trump Fan for Threatening to "Exterminate" Miami Hispanics

I think you'll have to take out that "white supremacist" part; somehow with those looks and a name like Zhaoyuan Cheng, he doesn't quite fit it. ;)

Yep, which is why MSNBC (among others) just might have it wrong about stereotyping "Trump supporters".

Well this is a first. Pretty much most are in agreement this sucks every which way regardless of politics.

Oh there is a couple of "proud boys" on here that will claim he was just exercising his first amendment rights...

Are there?

Seems unlikely.

But this looks like some iteration of mental illness on Lin's part.

Zhaoyuan Cheng (AKA: Eric Lin) is a POC.......

Woah.

If this info. is accurate, law enforcement may have made a valid arrest rather than one based in pre-crime/wordcrime.

Indeed. This may be the first of these "right wing threat" stories we've been seeing over the last week or so to involve an actual constitutionally-actionable threat.

That, plus praising Hitler and threatening to kill and rape Hispanics

Don't you trust cops man?

The cops must Democrats. He's just a regular ordinary Trump supporter I'm sure.

That (bolded above) is a clear sign of being a Nazi, white supremacist, xenophobe and racist - just take MSNBC's word for that. ;)

Of course you better take their word. MS13NBC is probably one of the few groups you don't want to screw around with.

Wait...aren't Jews "white"? :lamo

Has nothing to do with Faux Nooz and the Right wing Echo Chamber constantly droning on and on about invasions.

Nothing to see here.

Move along.

Concur.

It has to do with what would seem to be a terrible intersection of mental health issues, and the discarding/marginalizing of people rather than positive engagement with them.

Mentally ill people don't do these things. Stop blaming white supremacist terrorism on mental ill people please

The blatant ignorance of our mental health issues in this nation is egregious, imho. Though, to be fair, I am not sure how it can be properly addressed, short of re-opening "inhumane" asylums. You know that would go over like a popsicle in death valley.

You mean, like

2. In His Facebook Messages That Form the Basis of the FBI Complaint & Arrest Warrant, Lin Praised Donald Trump & Thanked ‘God’ for the Coming ‘Race War’ & Vowed to Commit ‘Genocide’

Are you claiming that is typical of most Trump supporters?

No, but it is certainly typical of a large number of people who either committed mass murders, or got arrested for planning mass murders, in the last 18 months or so. The number of hate crimes have skyrocketed over the last 18 months.

The vast majority of mentally ill people are more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators thereof.

But some mentally ill people are extremely violent.

I think we would need to engage the ACTUAL illness of our society rather than railing at the symptoms...

So yeah, popsicle in Death Valley.

Mentally ill people express some very troubling ideas.

That's one indication that they're mentally ill.

Or politicians...

This is why world leaders need to exercise decorum and civility when speaking. Because weak, unstable individuals are latching on to the vitriolic and divisive rhetoric that Trump spits out and taking it as a green light to act.

You mean, like

For some reason, Lin felt that what he was planning on doing would be an effective solution.

“Y’know, we don’t do like other countries, other countries stand there with machine guns ready to fire. We can’t do that, and I wouldn’t wanna do that. It’s a very effective way of doing it, and I wouldn’t wanna do it, we can’t do it.”

Are you claiming that is typical of most Trump supporters?

Twitter tried to use an AI to ban nazi accounts the same way they did with ISIS accounts, but it invariably flagged Republican elected officials.

So... yeah, kinda.
