Obama administration... just like a 3rd world ****hole banana republic, or your typical tyrannical Communists.

Judicial Watch? Aren't they the group that exposed ISIS training camps in Texas? Get back to us when there are indictments of Obama officials. And really, Obama a communist? Thank you for pointing that out, Sen. McCarthy.

Typical right wing bull****. Use the word "frame" in the headline and then give absolutely no evidence to back it up.

Judicial Watch has zero credibility whatsoever and the OP and those like him who continue to use such a source says everything you need to know about them.

Let's try similar wording regarding the Trump Tower meeting and see how it sounds.

"Trump Attorneys Admit Trump Lied About Trump Tower Meeting Where Don Jr Met With Russians to Frame Hillary."

Spooky.

Right wing nutcase site is right wing.

Amazing.

Democrats will not believe democrats actually did worse than Nixon in trying to sabotage the opposing party.

Two problems.

First, the dossier is based on work Steele did for Fusion GPS as research that Fusion was hired to do on Republican candidates....as well as Hillary Clinton herself. The organization that paid for the research had no knowledge of how or who was compiling the information; standard for this kind of thing to protect sources. So, when the Clinton campaign then hired Fusion, they were not only aware that Clinton herself had been researched, but that other GOP candidates had been as well. THAT means that the Obama DOJ, at that moment of time, had nothing to do with the research at that point.

Second, the FBI investigation into members of Trump's campaign...and NOT Trump himself...started about four months PRIOR to the sale of the research material from Fusion. So, the dossier had NO way of "starting" an investigation that had started on its own. When the claims were made apparent to the Clinton campaign, it was deemed serious enough to share with the DOJ and certain GOP such as McCain. The dossier was quickly dismissed by the Obama DOJ and that was stated as such when the FISA court reviewed the data to continue surveillance on those members of the Trump campaign who were thought to have ties with Russia.

Sorry, the facts don't corroborate the claim here.

How come nobody wants to dispute the documents?

Seems all the counters are attacking the messenger.

People are aware that judicial watch only makes FOIA requests and then published what comes from them, right?

When a more credible source surfaces, there can be an intelligent discussion on this. GOP controls the Senate. Have hearings.

Steele wasn't hired until the Republicans were no longer paying Fusion GPS and the Hillary campaign was.

The dossier wasn't dismissed, that's a narrative to cover their collective asses. Steele peddled it to aides with McCain who then turned it over to anyone willing to listen:

Newly Unsealed Court Documents Reveal Who Shared The Russia Dossier With The FBI And Media

“Judicial Watch” is a garbage dump.

Yeah, so I was just coming here to laugh and point that someone used “Judicial Watch” as a reputable source, but seems y’all have that part covered.

Well done, the lot of ya’.

I think Judicial Watch tends to cherry pick and put a right wing slant (like the headline) on what they publish and that's why people don't trust them.

Have you read the documents? I haven't, but I have read Ohr's FBI memos and followed the story and I agree with Jason Warfield's first point in post #9. He also made a good point about how the investigation was into Trump's campaign and not Trump himself. So I don't think one needs to read the documents to know that the FBI didn't frame Trump and Obama didn't spy on him. The man is just a delusional, paranoid, ego maniac.

Warfield said the DoJ [FBI] dismissed the dossier, which is probably why McCain's assistant, Kramer peddled it to the media. The media was only allowed to look at it, but Buzzfeed secretly took photos of the entire dossier when Kramer was out of the room. That might explain how Buzzfeed was the first to publish it. And the rest is history.

They so dismissed it that they used it as a rationale for FISA surveillance warrants. Peddle disinformation somewhere else.

This is the kind of instance, in which getting caught doesn't dissuade someone.

Democrats cannot prove truth wrong, no matter how much they try to cover it up or make light of it. There was a cause behind the issuance of FISA warrants based on a known fake democrat spy document. Hopefully good honest police work will get to the bottom of it no matter how much the crooks and their supporters fight the investigation into the crime.

Judicial Watch :lamo I see that you like Oligarchs running our country. With over 50 full-time lawyers and investigators, the Rightist Oligarchs have made a huge investment. And you swallow it - hook, line, and sinker.

Sorry to pop your blubbering bubble, but the FBI were already surveilling Page and Papadopoulos before they saw the dossier in it's entirety. The Republicans entire claim against the FISA warrant is bogus and the Nunes memo proved it....

"...The [Nunes] memo’s central claim—that the DOJ had not revealed that Steele had received funding from political sources—fell apart when it was subsequently revealed that the DOJ had, in fact, disclosed the origin of the dossier’s funding. Nunes later admitted he overlooked the information because it was in a footnote. Moreover, the memo’s final paragraph contradicted the whole purported reason for the memo, acknowledging that the FBI began investigating after Papadopoulos told an Australian diplomat about his conversations with Mifsud. And the revelation that the court renewed the FBI’s warrant to surveil Page multiple times demonstrated not Justice Department overreach but rather, that courts had sufficient reason to believe Page was a Russian asset and therefore warranted continued surveillance....|"

Chapter 6 - The Moscow Project

I guess you conveniently forgot about that idiot's memo, huh?

When the Hell is Trump-DoJ gonna do something about all this lawless evil which is being exposed via the interwebz?
That's what I wanna know.

I'm beginning to think that Trump is in on T3h C05pir4cy™.
Why is else is Trump-DoJ failing to act on all of this overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing (& treason? idk)?

It is entirely NOT because these internet conspiracies are vacuous and baseless.
These internet discoveries are the real deal, damn it all!
The evidence is OVERWHELMING!!@!!!!!!!@#!!~!

WHEN IS TRUMP_DOJ GOING TO START PROTECTING AMERICA?!?!?!?!

I didn't. Papadapolous was approached by Misfud. Who looks like a Western asset not a Russian one. Page shouldn't have been under surveillance and is countersuing the FBI because of it. There was no credible reason to have a warrant on Page.

All of that doesn't preclude the dossier being used as rationale for renewals and later warrants.

If what you say is taken at face value ftsoa, we're still left with the fact that the conclusions in the OP are from a Town Hall columnist.
So, w/e JW did, it's somewhat irrelevant to the conclusions drawn by the columnist the OP cites in the OP.

Second, if the messenger (JW or TH) is not credible, then, by themselves, reports from a non-credible source are insufficient to establish a point.

You act like shooting the messenger is a credible tactic. Its not.
