What is racist about it? We have an entire thread on that speech and what she actually said in context is no more than represent, and this was her term, "whatever" voice that elected you, serve the voters who voted for you. It was a plea to courage and hard work - that last line should clue you in on that:
"If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice."
And the good thing is there isn't any danger of "white voices" being heard in Congress, especially on the GOP side. It's not quite 100% white on that side, so I think they're well represented in positions of power and don't need a "voice" because they've had it since the founding. Here's a photo I posted on another thread - it's the GOP healthcare brain trust. Think we need more "white voices" representing the interest of whites in that hearing room? More males?
