Trump, '''not backing down''' in effort to count citizens amid census fight, announces executive order | Fox News

President Trump, speaking at the White House on Thursday, announced that he would "immediately" issue an executive order to get an accurate count of non-citizens and citizens in the United States -- a measure Trump said would be "far more accurate" than relying on a citizenship question in the 2020 census.

The move would make use of "vast" federal databases and free up information sharing among all federal agencies concerning who they know is living in the country, Trump said.

Trump has ordered federal “big data”, who writes the checks and manages the programs, to compile the data and get what is probably a more accurate count of who is here illegally.

How can democrats advertise benefits for illegal aliens when no one has any idea how many are here?

So here is a guy who probably has bettered the lives of thousands of minorities,
blacks, Muslims, Latino's all by virtue of steady employment, who is being assigned
the attributes of a Nazi because he wants to ensure the well being of the majority of
US citizens.

All the establishment types are wetting their pants right now.....they can't control him, they can't own
him, and they can't eliminate him. There are very few actual conservatives inside the beltway, so
their sniveling is hilarious!

For what purpose? The census data is what is used for apportionment and most federal money that is based on population. What will this "more accurate count" achieve?

He has not done a thing for anyone but his buddies and himself. He is like a jockey who jumps on the back of Secretariat ten yards from the end and says "I won it!". I did not call Trump a Nazi, I called his mob nazis.

Mad Maxine told us six years ago how Trump is going to be able to get the information he wants. Of course, she had no idea, six years ago, that Trump would be the President. If she did, she would have demanded that Obama's database be destroyed.

We get this information every year on the ACS.. Why is this not adequate? What will be the outcome of finding out how many illegal aliens we have in the country? Intellectual curiosity?

Except that's not what the "intent" of the Citizens question was EVER about; and the SC slapped his wrist and told him his stated reason was UN-Constitutional.

It might be a WTF moment. Or maybe it won’t, the only thing that will have changed is that now we have some idea of how many illegals are in the country.

We have a pretty good idea every year based on the American Community Survey... What exactly would be accomplished having this information?

Why play their game?

It was already revealed who, and why, the quesiton was suggested as something to put on the Census. There is no question what they want it for, there is no need to ask someone...anyone. To ask someone is to ignore the fact that it's already known, fits motive, fits the facts, etc.
