I have to disagree.

The Dutch goalie was incredible, and Rapinoe Jedi mind-tricked her; phenomenal.

But Rapinoe's still a scumbag.

I don't follow soccer but what is the percentage of penalty kicks-at a world class level, that are blocked? I bet it is less than free throws missed in the NBA but I am interested in hearing from someone who actually knows this statistic.
 
Imho the people who are offended by her comments/actions are handling it the wrong way.
The most effection reaction to these temper tantrums the left has turned into a routine habit is to completely ignore them.
These stunts are nothing but attention seeking gestures. People should not give them sny attention at all. Just ghost them.

When they come home looking for praise for their accomplishiment dont give it to them and dont attack them either. Let them be greeted with a deafing silence. Do not celebrate with them.l

It wasn't that she scored - the odds are very much in the kicker's favor as you surmised - but how she did it.

She fooled everyone, including, most importantly, the goalie.

A good time to mention that the officiating was SUPERB in the game - by far the best I've seen in the tournament.

Oh - and that I favor smaller goals for women's soccer.
