Let me try something here. It seems that the chairman fell ill for a time. Hopefully he will be ok.
Sometimes it is the heat, dehydration, some underlying condition. It doesn't matter. I wish him well

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, a high-profile Democrat, appeared to nearly faint during a news conference Friday, halting the event as New York Mayor Bill de Blasio offered him assistance. In the brief episode, Nadler is seen on video appearing disoriented and slow to respond as de Blasio offers him water. Nadler was immediately assisted by medical staff who were at the event, and Nadler responded to them.

Odds are that Trump poisoned his food. Somebody really should appoint a special counsel to investigate how Trump managed to infiltrate Nadler's security.

Now there is a thought.

Older people can have less tolerance for the heat as they get older, especially if they have other medical issues, so this isn't abnormal.

How true is that.

I support an effort to suponea his medical records to make sure he is healthy enough to serve. If not he should be impeached.

People from NY don't tolerate temps above 80 degrees very well to begin with; just as we folks in TX hate anything below 40.

Nah, the deep state is out to get him, too.

Ok, I hear you. We are up there too. Since I run when it is still dark and relatively cool, kudos to those who run at noon or thereafter.

I've worked in 115 degrees and just dealt with it, but I'm sure that will change with age.

My folks? They were like "WHY IS IT SO ****ING HOT IN HERE?!"

My neighbors are wondering what odd samples we are trying to preserve. Anything over 74 is too much for this old girl.

That keeps getting mentioned, but heat wasn't a factor here. The high temperature was 75 degrees, and the event was indoors.

That's true. I laugh when they talk about a "heat wave" with temperatures "into the 80's!!!". However, temperature wasn't a factor for this indoor event on a cool day.

What was?

My sweet little doggie (who looked just like yours) couldn't handle anything over 75 after her diabetes. :(

? I have no idea. It's some other medical issue. Several people have brought up 'it must have been the heat' -- I'm just pointing out that this wasn't the case.

Our baby is getting old(er). She goes out for a few minutes and comes back panting. Not a good sign.

Labs do that early on and let of it is them tasting the air, don't worry too much.

The key to helping her is to keep multiple bowls of fresh water around.

Nadler is under a lot of pressure. He's spearheading the charge to oust President Trump and so far, has done nothing but ****ed the dog. If he doesn't produce results soon, he'll have outlived his usefulness.

The weight of the whole country is on his shoulders. These people, on both sides of the aisles, are all going through a lot of stress. They're all sure earning their paychecks this year.

It is interesting he was at a table with a banner advocating the government watching everyone while they are driving, declaring the government should watch you at all times to try to catch you breaking a traffic offense - claiming if the government than takes your money - even if it means you can't pay the rent and the family evicted this was absolutely necessary to save you from yourself.

It can get hot in an enclosed room with a lot of people due to body heat. But with no one else in the video affected in any way and people with jackets in the audience that is just a diverionary excuse. Nadler is age 71 and while not obese, he was for much of his life and is overweight now.

Virtually everyone in their 70s has health issues to various degrees and most will not talk of them until they become very apparent. Since there was no indication of pain this likely was not a heart attack. We saw this with Hillary Clinton who clearly had apparent health issues. However, her explanation of ordinary tripping and the reason given for Nadler was not stating the real cause - though it could have triggered the problem flaring up.

Peter Rodino who was chairman of the House Judiciary Committee that voted three articles of impeachment against Nixon had to check in medically for heart palpitations and distress during the period the committee was holding its hearings. It was a one time event that turned out to be nothing much as Rodino continued to serve New Jersey in the House until 1998. In 2005 Rodino died of congestive heart failure at age 95.

Conversely, it's the old saw that it's the guys like Nixon and Trump who give people heart attacks and keep 'em awake nights. Nixon died in 1994 at age 81 after a severe stroke. Trump can fear neither fate as he hasn't any heart or brain. I'd suggest rather that Trump's greatest concern should be that he could be self consumed by a gradual nova into his own big ass.

Well, here is hoping he is fully recovered.
