The problem with issues like this when they come up is people are trying to judge people of history by the standards, morals, and laws of today. It doesn't really work that way.

What you don't know is I love the Japanese and I have the ultimate respect of the Constitution. Which leaves you oh for three today. I was going to suggest you try for a walk but I see you just got hit by a pitch.

Did Washington kill Indians? That answer seems to also be a "yes." He certainly appropriated Indian lands.

That sounds ridiculous. And I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about.

You don't think a system designed by older white Christian males, run by older white Christian males, with a curriculum created by older white Christian males, might just be a wee bit biased....towards the beliefs of older white Christian males?

The goal should be to make the public education system inclusive, and to ensure that everyone in the community is a stakeholder. How many high schools are there in America that a CEO or high level government official would refuse to send their child to? I'm willing to bet there are hundreds, if not thousands. You want to fix the American public education system, that would be one hell of a good place to start.

What is the argument? My great-grandfather was killed by Union soldiers so I have a right to be mad at everyone who even appears to support the Northern Aggression in the Civil War? What does the Civil War or slavery have to do with my responsibility to get along with others today?
