The Latest: California vaccine exemption bill advances

Every time the topic of vaccinations comes up, the drug company worshipers totally avoid this topic of the military and vaccinations. Why is that?

Two percent that "could result in disability and death", huh...

How many ACTUALLY resulted in disability and death?

This is a wonderful example of the typical click bait garbage presented as science by anti vaxxers. A quick scan of the website makes very clear that we're not looking at the New England Journal of Medicine...lol...

C'mon, joko, I'm sure you're basing your decision to advocate for the risking of children's lives on something better than this....right?

Nobody will deny that some have bad reactions to vaccines.Pales in comparison to the cost to our society as a whole.

They can stay unvaccinated. But there are consequences to that action.
Of course adverse reactions can happen, more severe reactions are incredibly rare. I just took my son in for some immunizations and they ask you if your child is allergic or has bad reactions to any medications or vaccines.

This is like arguing with Young Earth Creationists who cherry pick some of the rare challenges that are encountered with carbon dating, to throw out all radiometric dating data. Surgery has risks, nearly every medical procedure has risks, but that is worth it for elimating serious illnesses across society.

People who reject vaccines are ruining the whole system for everyone, and then ignorantly proclaim that it demonstrates vaccines don't work.

What's the Mark Twain quote, its not what you don't know that gets you in trouble, it's what you know that just ain't so.

hehe...good one.

Funny part, most of these anti-vaxxers were vaccinated by their parents. They're safe, because their parents weren't idiots. It's their kids lives they're ****ing with.

Says the anti-vaxxers who refuses to answer simple questions or acknowledge basic science. ;)

Still waiting for you to prove that Democrat lawyer-politicans in California know so much more about diseases and healthcare than doctors and hospitals that you agree with them outlawing doctors and hospitals having any say over whether a vaccination is safe for a specific child.

Do you have a prayer closet to the Democratic Party?

Why do Republicans and Churchgoers tend to be anti-vaxxers? Because they get their information from social circles not reliable sources. On the Republican sides, it's freedom! And on the church side, clucky circles of uninformed moms and their old wives tales...

Your stance is that only idiots go to doctors for healthcare. They should take their sick children to their local Democrat state representative's office since you and they claim that is who are the healthcare experts - and that doctors and hospitals are all just lying quacks.

How large is your closest state senator's surgical center? Do you have to make an appoint for your Democratic state senator for him/her to do medical examination on you? How much does your state senator charge you for medical office visits?

prove that Democrat lawyer-politicans in California know so much more about diseases and healthcare than doctors and hospitals

1. They are almost certainly going to make decisions in conjunction with healthcare professionals - that's what health officials do. Any assumption to the contrary is ludicrous.

2. Most doctors and hospitals agree that vaccinations work, are safe, and reduce the public risk of certain diseases. This has been known and proven for decades now.

So at a bare minimum the obvious outcome is that health officials will consult doctors and doctors will advise vaccination. Pretty much what already happens everywhere. Or shall we just bring back polio and the whole lot?

Like any medication, vaccines can cause side effects. The most common side effects are mild. On the other hand, many vaccine-preventable disease symptoms can be serious, or even deadly. Even though many of these diseases are rare in this country, they still occur around the world. Unvaccinated U.S. citizens who travel abroad can bring these diseases to the U.S., putting unvaccinated children at risk.

The side effects from vaccines are almost always minor (such as redness and swelling where the shot was given) and go away within a few days. If your child experiences a reaction at the injection site, use a cool, wet cloth to reduce redness, soreness, and swelling.

Serious side effects after vaccination, such as severe allergic reaction, are very rare and doctors and clinic staff are trained to deal with them. Pay extra attention to your child for a few days after vaccination. If you see something that concerns you, call your child’s doctor.

No, the question is why are some many Democrats and atheists such submissive sheeple to the government? Why do they worship government as if omnipotent, omniscient and benevolent gods?

No, no, no. NOT in California. STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS. Go to your nearest Democrat legislator for you medical issues and by law soon about vaccinations. Soon, in California, do NOT call your doctor. Doctors and hospitals are being banned from vaccination decisions by California Democratic lawyer-politicians.

If you can't trust faceless, nameless clerks who never saw you or your children to make your healthcare decisions, who can you trust, huh? All it takes to be a medical expert is a couple rubber stamps and an ink pad.

lol...who are you talking to?? I ask, because I haven't seen anyone say that.

The fact that everyone who can be vaccinated should be vaccinated doesn't need 10 years at med school to understand. I would assume the tricky doctor-y stuff will be looked after by medical professionals.

But by all means, let's continue on down the rabbit hole...

It's both disturbing and fascinating reading your convoluted and rambling thoughts spilled out on this forum.

Ever message calling me an "anti-vaxxer" is outright false. I am anti-gullible and anti-sheeple. Taking the decision of whether a child is not a candidate for a particular vaccine due to allergy or compromised immune system is a MEDICAL decision for doctors - not a political decision for Democrat lawyer-politicians nor government bureaucrats.

Only true idiots can not grasp:
1. All vaccinations are not the identical vaccination.
2. There has been NO studies of the safety of infecting babies' white blood cells with half a dozen immunization diseases at the same time.
3. Doctors and hospitals know more about vaccinations and diseases that California Democratic lawyer-politicians do.

Drug companies pour more money into politics than any other special interest group. California's Democratic Senators sold out to drug companies, there is nothing more to it than that. EVERY INTELLIGENT person understands the experts on diseases are not clerk in Democrat county offices or state Democratic politicians.

You're not reading anything or you would actually have something to say. You're just ranting because you see that as your duty. You don't even under the topic of this thread.

anti-vax idiot parents should have to home school.

Everyone "can" be vaccinated. It may kill the person or cripple the child for life, but it can be done.

So what do you say are an acceptable number of deaths by allergic reactions or compromised immune systems - since you agree doctors should no longer be involved? 100 children a year? 1000 children a year? 10,000 children a year? How many HIV positive children do you WANT given dozens of vaccinations - generally all at the same time?

anti-vax idiot parents should have to home school.

Children with compromised immune systems should not be public schools.

How do you address that law requires parents to send their children to school with demanding parents not put their children in school? Pick one.

Under house arrest / quarantine.

they put the lives and health of kids (including vaccinated kids) at risk, as they chip away at herd immunity. i'm tempted to say that they should be on a CPS watchlist.

Oops, you're clearly getting lost in your own thread now. I already specified that a screening process would need to be part of any mandatory vaccination process.

But super cool rant, the whole 100 children, 1000 children, 10000 children thing was very compelling. Of course, you missed the fact that I could easily turn that around on you, and ask how many children should die to the diseases these vaccinations prevent because people are too stupid, lazy, or crazy to give their kids a simple needle...100? 1000? 10000?

Next...…………………………………………………

Sounds like a job for Child Services to me, I agree.

One reason I hate PCism is because it is nearly entirely built about bigotries and declarations that are pure hypocrisy.

Who should most NOT be in public schools are children with compromised immune systems and certainly HIV positive children. They can not be vaccinated against many diseases. One bite, one accident that passed blood, and in many other ways and other diseases than just HIV put all children at risk.

BUT OMG! is that horrifically anti PCism! Can't have that! MUST allow THAT obvious risk to other children

But unvaccinated kids - who poise NO risk to vaccinated children - must be banned because progressive hate those people.

It isn't about risk factors. It is the question of who do you support and who do you hate - all as PC political questions. It has NOTHING do to with health.

they can home school.

as for a back and forth with you on this topic, it will almost certainly be fruitless. i've taken graduate level immunology (probably the most difficult course that i've ever taken,) and you've read woo woo blogs written by anti-vaxers. that's not really a foundation for a good discussion. i'll probably skip it, but thanks for calling.
