If there was any doubt as to the departure of sanity of Michelle Bachmann, that doubt is all but erased with this story.

To be Christian is to ask God for forgiveness of one's sins. Trump was asked if he did this. He replied that he did not because he hadn't committed any sins.

One huge problem is that far too many conservatives believe they have cornered the market on Christianity believing that liberals can't be Christian, liberals can't be pro-life, liberals have no family values, liberals are evil, liberals are atheists, liberals are ____ fill in the blank. The whole preceived war on Christianity is only in the mind of conservatives (maybe not all but a good portion) and is self-created within their sanctimonious minds.

What I see is that Evangelist's have brought a degree of hypocrisy to Chrisitanity like no other group before them. It is one thing to support a political idea/party but to claim something or someone like Trump is "godlike" really takes their hypocrisy to a whole new level.

If this is your understanding of David, I suggest you haven't spent much time in the Word.

Show us Trump's book of poems where he professes his shame, his quest for God's heart, his desire for God's forgiveness and maybe we can discuss David and Trump in the same thread. Otherwise, I am sorry to say, Trump has far more in common with the most Godless characters of the Bible. His sins against God only start at adultery, and extend to lust, bearing false witness, covetness, greed, love of money, a haughty eye, gossip, lack of humility, putting gods ahead of God, for which by his own admission he has never repented nor sought forgiveness.

He is almost the antithesis of Christ; an anti-Christ if one ever walked the face of the earth.

Do not use David as your example of Trump. The ONLY thing they have in common is there names each have 5 characters. In the interim, read some Psalms as apparently you missed the whole point of David as a major character of the Bible.

The Trump God smiles every time a brain cell dies or a tax cut starves a black child. Thank you, Jesus, for this blessed apathy! Even (ESPECIALLY!) an idiot can understand how much easier it is.
 
Bachman calling Trump godly and biblical is tantamount to Jeffrey Dahmer calling Jeffrey Epstein a sexual pioneer who is ahead of his time.
