Trump Autographed Bibles For Tornado Survivors And Everyone’s Roasting Him For It

I'm sorry. Should he not autograph the Bibles if people ask for it?

Did he just take it upon himself to do that or were the people asking him to sign it? Regardless, the story made me laugh. And my favorite comment "To be fair, Trump wrote as much of the Bible as he wrote of "The Art of the Deal". :)

It all hinges on whether the signature was requested. If so, then completely okay. If not, then completely ridiculous.

Edit: I read it as he gave Bibles with his sig. If he just signed stuff people requested then this is nothing.

Edit 2: I read the article, he signed stuff upon request. Outrage is stupid.

Someone else must have held them, if he had touched them they would have burst into flames.

He is after all the first American president to look at the ten commandments as a to do list...

Trump Autographed Bibles For Tornado Survivors

It says in this book that the devil works in mysterious ways.

I would submit this is what that warns of.

If I lost my home, and I just became homeless. The last thing that I need is a autographed bible from Trump.

That Bible will be worth more than an autographed baseball by Babe Ruth some day.

I find it strange with church groups, when it is dealing with the homeless community -- they will give a bible to someone that is homeless. Having my house damaged or a total loss, and given a bible is strange. So the theory, if I read the bible, I would be blessed and my home is rebuilt. But, it has a problem with the following. If I want to get a college degree, if I read the bible, God will bless me to get the college degree. That is a very strange way to become a capitalist.

Not sure what the fuss is all about since folks asked him to do it. It's in poor taste since it's a holy book, but this sounds like its blown way out of proportion.

People that even ask him to sign their Bible are out of their minds. What the HELL is wrong with people? Is nothing sacred to them at all? If the knuckleheads in Alabama don't realize 'Thou shalt not worship false gods' is a COMMANDMENT then they're nothing more than bible-thumping brain damaged idiots. Let's face it, Alabama was never a state associated with producing brilliant minded scholars, but these people just pushed the state a notch lower on the country's IQ scale.

And please Trumpers....don't bother gasping in shock and saying to me "oh you're crazy, that's not worshiping false gods, they didn't have anything else but their Bibles to have him sign, it had nothing to do with false gods, heresy and blasphemy!!"

BULL

That's not true, he's a narcissistic remember? There's possibly more 'stuff' with his signature on it than any other U.S. president in history.

Signing Bibles just brings Trump and his base way down into the deeper recesses of evil. It actually would have been far less offensive if he tossed them paper towels like in Puerto Rico.

Well...it is rather presumptuous. I wouldn't do it. Though, there may be some confusion here--some Bibles have a signature page for important events, friendships, and the like. If that's what he did, that's OK.

Ummm... no. Babe Ruth is a legend. He is a legend for doing things with....wait for it....baseballs! Trump isn't even legendary for following the Bible, much less writing it.

Also, for your reference, Trump is not God and did not write the Bible. If you think he is, then you actually don't believe in the Bible.

I'm going to head down to the bookstore and start signing copies of Shakespeare. Apparently there's nothing wrong with that.

Would he have signed a copy of the Koran had someone asked???
