Ilhan Omar on anti-hate House resolution: 'This is great progress'

You might not know it by name (though I doubt that's true), but you definitely trade in it, what with those scary scary JOOOOOOOOOOZ in your government.

That you accept without question that there are only US-Israeli dual citizens in government says just about everything.

Can one Truth without "Da Joos"? I don't think so.

I condemn all bigotry, just like this resolution,

Considering you refuse to see Omar's anti-Semitism, that's demonstrably untrue.

You've apparently been drinking enough of the Republican kool-aid that you genuinely believe that criticizing Israel makes one an anti-semite.

Nope. That you purposely blind yourself to anti-Semitism when (you think) it's rolled up in criticism of Israel is patently obvious.

Tell me, do you think that NO criticism of Israel can ever be anti-Semitic?

Never mind that Omar's most recent comments weren't even criticism of Israel, but slurs of Americans. You don't even know that, because you don't care.

Krugman said:

Yeah, where the **** do you think it is if it's not on the left? The center? Anywhere but the right, huh? Not the torch carrying MAGA hatters screaming "Jews will not replace us", he must have been talking about someone else! I've never known you of all people to be such a huge fan of Krugman.

This is simply more deflection, and an intentional distortion of what he clearly said. He said, in no uncertain terms, that anti-Semitism on the left doesn't scare him. As I said, at least he's honest.

I'm sorry I can't link to the articles, but some have written exactly on this topic, and apparently there are at least 100 such critters.

In the interest of rational public dialogue, it would be swell if you might know the answer to the question as to how many dual citizens serve in government, and how many countries are represented thereby. I shan't hold my breath however.

Anyone who trades in as many conspiracy theories as Thoreau is bound to get there one way or another.

I found a bunch. They're all on white supremacist sites. Is THAT why you "can't" link to them? Or is that, too, something you "shan't" say?

I'm pretty sure there's gotta be a shadowy global force behind the whole thing or the CT falls apart.

Netanyahu? She didn't just criticize Netanyu, she criticized the systematic and long held Israeli government policy of taking land from arabs by force with the justification that "god gave it to our race so we deserve it." I don't see how that's anti-semitic as most Jews are neither Israeli nor zionists.

Considering she actively condemns all bigotry, no I never thought she wouldn't vote for it.

Blind myself to what anti-semitism? Give an example of how she's condemned all Jews everywhere and not just Israeli politics.

Krugman is right though, the nastiest form of anti-semitism is on the right. The worrisome part is that after remaining silent when MAGA hat wearing nazis screamed "Jews will not replace us", they're suddenly super concerned about anti-semitism when a muslim women criticizes Israeli policies. Kind of shows that it's really 100% about partisanship and not about their genuine beliefs.

I didn't say any of that, please show me some quotes.

"Lol, "that many interpreted as anti-semitic". So she votes for an amendment that condemns all forms of bigotry, including anti-semitism, and in doing so that makes her anti-semitic? You guys are pathetic and really reaching. Also, the vast majority of the world's Jews are not Israeli, so conflating criticism of Israeli politics with anti-semitism is ridiculous and makes no sense."

Sure, some criticism of Israel can be anti-semitic. Like: "Israel is terrible because they have so many Jews". That would be anti-semitic. You've still failed to show any connection at all to anything she said and being anti-semitic.

American conservatives support Israel and give it special status above all of our other allies for three reasons.

1) Because evangelicals seriously believe that the end-times can only happen if Jews control the temple mount.
2) Because they find Judaism more relatable than Islam, but still dislike and distrust both.
3) Because they are actively lobbied by pro-zionist groups.

I'm an American, so I completely reject this whole "blood and soil" mentality that most of the rest of the world has. One of the worst cases of this is Israel, where many believe that anyone on the planet with a drop of Jewish blood in them is more deserving of land in Israel and Palestine than the arabs whose families have lived there for hundreds if not thousands of years. I reject ANY nation that believes race and god give them a right to evict other people from their land. In that regard Omar is 100% correct and I'm glad to see she's one of the few politicians willing to call this racism out.

If you're going to steal my words 1:1 you should at least give me credit.

None of what I said supports anything you accused me of. Where's Trump in that?

Probably having to do with, oh, Rothschilds or something.

Here's a cartoon version of what Omar said, and what you're apparently calling "100% correct":

What an excellent point.

Then again, the SJWs are at it again in dem politics. You can't do it but they can 'cause they've been wronged. Just another reparation being proposed by dems.

It's just another extension of the issue.

I assume that these jack wagons are relatively intelligent. That assumption leads me to believe that their intention is to inflame the weak minded.

They seem to be meeting some success in this.

No it's not. Can you explain why Israel is given a special place in American politics and isn't treated like the rest of our allies? Trump has actively attacked all of our allies in Europe, Canada, Australia, and everywhere else, but not Israel. What is the reason that we give this foreign country special status? I'm not saying it's some big conspiracy, I'm saying it has to do with the 3 things I mentioned, #1 being the biggest.

I don't think they should be treated special. They should be condemned when condemnation is warranted, like all countries.

Hatred equates to stupidity.

Anti-semite Democrats claim victory.

The gutless Democrat Party once again, as seen throughout their history, has sided with bigots.

America is not having a “difficult conversation”. People of all religions and colors are desperately trying to come to the greatest country in the world.

LOL - you calling another party, "gutless" is like Chris Christie calling someone fat.

Republicans can't wait to throw this nation's security under the bus in order to protect a criminal in the white house. I've never seen such a bunch of spineless imbeciles as exist within your current broken GOP party.

You're in a really, really delicate glass house here, friend.

Do NOT be throwing stones!

No it's not.

Yeah. It is.

Must be all that "dual-loyalty," right? David Duke is behind you 100%.

Yeah. It is.

AIPAC is a pro-Israel lobby, not a pro-Jewish lobby, so pointing out that they lobby our politicians is not anti-semitic. Even if it was a pro-Jewish lobby, which it isn't, pointing out their influence in our politics still wouldn't be anti-semitic. Your argument is the equivalent of if a pro-China lobbyist group was lobbying our politicians, and those politicians just so happen to attack anyone that criticizes China, and someone called out that a pro-foreign country group is effecting our politics, you'd call them racist against asians.

Totally stupid and unbelievable.

This post is BEYOND parody. I'd highlight the especially stupid parts, but I'd bold the whole thing.

It's a 1:1 analogy of your argument. AIPAC is a pro-Israel lobby and they lobby our politicians. This is a fact, not an opinion, and is exactly what she stated. You automatically associate Israel and all Jews everywhere as the exact same thing and I have no idea why.

What does "relatively smart" mean, not inbred?

Hatred equates to stupidity.

I don't agree. There have been and are many hate filled people who are very smart.

Those victimized by the hater elites may be stupid and in many cases probably are.

No, it's not. You're tripling down on the willfully blind stupidity.

My favorite part was:

It's not amazing that your thinking would lead you to this point.

My implication was that they smart as compared to the average intelligence of the population.

What you infer is not under my control. I can only imply when I am the writer.

Sometimes it's tough to figure things out when someone is presenting a half-assed sissy-boy victim conspiracy.
