As far as Congress and what they make, ok, fine, 174K, but why on earth are they subject to different rules/laws in regards to health care etc, they should be subjected to the very same law they think is good for everyone else..

She learned from the master Dictator Donald, whose party members fear being primaried if they don’t toe his line. You need sharp elbows in politics. Her questions to Cohen plus this show she has what it takes. You go, girl!

But naturally, it depends what issues she is talking about. Crossing over to cooperate is probably a good thing on many issues, and I am sure she will do so herself. But I love the GOP amendment. Good to see they hate illegals more than they love guns.

Unfortunately, I think the democrats can actually afford to alienate centrists a bit when their opponent is Trump. It will be the reverse of the 2016 elections: centrists may not like the extreme left candidate, but he or she will look like the lesser of two evils against Donald Trump. Americans have proven themselves willing to sacrifice their values in order to prevent someone with worse values from taking over. This would be the time for the far left to go all in. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, no matter how distasteful they might be.

AOC, and her patron, Bernie Sanders, went around the country in 2018 campaigning against moderate Democrats in the primaries. AOC lost the vast majority of them.

AOC won in a district that a Democrat will never lose in. What she did would be like a ultra-conservative Republican defeating a conservative Republican in the primaries in the rural South. She would never win in a competitive district.

Maybe she hasn't noticed that NY is running out of other people's money to spend and is totally ignorant as to the role of the federal gov't. Apparently being an enemy of the people means returning power back to the state and local governments which are closer to the people as our Founders wanted!! I have to believe this is an act on your part because no reasonable person will ever take AOC seriously and her promotion of socialism in our private sector economy.
 
What AOC is proposing is what the National Socialists (Nazis), Stalinists, Maoists, the Che Guevara types, and other known Marxist types have or want to do. I'll admit, I do not want Leftist ideology being the dominant belief system and anyone that supports it is out of their mind. However, I believe they need to be defeated at the voting booths. I never would have a call to action to target people who vote a certain way. And let's be honest for a moment, does anyone believe that the people that AOC wants to target will result in a peaceful protest? She's probably talking about having these Antifa types going out and assaulting these people and their families. I wouldn't be surprised if AOC is okay with violence to achieve her goals. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Che, Pol Pot, Saddam, and a bunch of other dictators had targeted others to achieve their agendas, and I think AOC would make them all proud. I think the scariest part is that people support this idea. 15-20 years ago, this woman would be a joke and never would have been elected, but with how far indoctrination has come in our education system, people see her as legitimate. I think the way to push back against this woman is for these moderates to tell her 'no' and tell her that she truly is delusional. So far, NO ONE in the Democrat party has challenged her. You essentially have a spoiled brat in a grown up's body with real power, and that is what this makes this situation dangerous.

Kind of difficult to work across the aisle with "Never Trumpers". That being said, Trump has worked with the Dems on Criminal justice reform, Prescription drugs etc.

lol...the impossible are the Trumpers. They make no sense; scream anti-establishment and then sniff the butt of the most pro-corporate president we've had since Herbert ****ing Hoover.

Trumpers call everyone else snowflakes, but yet the man they all fellate, on a daily basis, has the thinnest skin we've ever seen.

Trumpers cried about deficits and rule of law when Obama borrowed money to end a recession and signed a few executive orders. Meanwhile they carry the water of the man who raises the deficit during a time of 4% unemployment and just declared a national emergency at the border.

Trumpers worship a man who cried birther and asked to see college transcripts, then they cry race baiting when they are called racists. And they defend Trump's actions when he buries his own transcripts and refuses to release his taxes.

So, no. We refuse to work with people like that. In fact, if I had my way, I'd lock them all up. And, maybe someday we will. Because I suspect they are stupid enough to give us just cause to do exactly that.

True, those were things the dems had been trying to get done for years.

I was thinking more in line with senators being called RINO's and voted out for not being Trumpers. Even though they voted 90% or more for everything he wanted. Flake was one example.

What a bunch of con artists. "Hey folks, I'd like you to take a poll but don't read any of the details". You offer free stuff people are gonna say, yes please! If I took the poll, I would ask how much is this gonna cost? How will it be paid for? What quality of service will I be getting? Now if everybody asked that same question I guarantee the results would be much less favorable. I think if you told them this was a liberal idea the results would be even worse.

The only people who think anything is "free" are Republicans, since they're the only ones who keep going on about "free stuff." If you read the second poll you'd have a clue as to how it would be paid for.

I realize that there are decent liberals out there and I feel badly that radicals like you have hijacked their party like Islamic terrorists have hijacked Islam.
