Racial division, even to the point of race wars on our city streets, are what those on the political left are actively working to foment. Dividing the nation is the only way democrats can achieve political power.

Why else would folks on the left not only concoct these phony hate crimes, but so many of them in DC, the media and Hollywood run with stories like this before the facts are in, knowing full well the potential violence that might erupt by doing so?

Obviously that question was rhetorical.

I get the idea this hoax is detrimental to victims of authentic hate crimes, people will wonder "is this another Smollet"? Especially if the alleged attack includes anything to do with "MAGA" and gets lots of airtime.

I suppose this incident could hold back others from making similar accusations (especially if they were hoaxes), but a genuine victim shouldn't have cause for concern as the evidence would hold up -though they might not get the airtime (unless the media runs with the story).

I expect this will induce the public to be more skeptical of these recurring stories of "MAGA" malfeasance.

What do you think Strahan means by "could be a big setback", does he mean for the media in pushing this narrative, or possible actual victims reporting hate crimes?

And what do you make of that quip from Abrams' "you want to believe..."?

The latest rumbling is that he felt he HAD to stage the attack because no one was taking the threatening letters seriously enough.

Well...except for all the made up bull**** about the MAGA crap. Funny thing is that more than anything else is what sunk his sad little battleship the fastest.

When they searched the Nigerians' apartment, Chicago police seized a bunch of magazines with pages torn out, they suspect these were what was used to compose the threatening letters, if they're right, Smollet not only fabricated the hate crime, but so too the mailed threat. So then rather than a cry for help, this was a fake cry for help with a a fake frustration over the show's management lack of concern about the fake letter, followed by a fake hate crime assault.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! A fake fight, he staged, couldn't even find someone to voluntarily pretend beat him. Had to pay a couple guys to do it. Body builders even. Its being reported that alleged attack occured right next to one of those clearly visible overhead domes with the cctv camera inside, except the camera was aimed away from the scene of the attack looking the other way down the sidewalk. Jessie had pointed out the camera to the police, expecting it to have the video evidence. Id love too see a video of that. Nancy boy vs two big body builders in a fake fight where the mighty "gay Tupac fought the f$$k back".

“Pretty scary there is a distinct possibility this could be real,” referencing the meme. “Not likely, but in this day and age of absolute liberal insanity, it is at least possible…”

This is obviously the case. It's a predictable outcome, as from day one in the education system, right on through to college, the prevalent ethos and culture, is a grievance ideology and victimhood culture. That's why democrat presidential hopefuls like Harris are parroting this type of garbage. It's the best way to get paid in the day and age of victimhood and perpetually offended.
