Congressional Talks on Border Security Have Broken Down

No complaints when obama separated children.
no complaints when a democratic senator said that children should be taken from their kids over school.
so well your faux outrage of children being separated is dismissed for what it is.

they are no longer separating them or did you miss the memo? your information is outdated and wrong.
the only kids on their own are kids that came here by themselves or without parent or guardian.

January 17, not all that long ago:

Thousands more migrant kids separated from parents under Trump than previously reported

WASHINGTON — Thousands more immigrant children were separated from their parents under the Trump administration than previously reported and whether they have been reunified is unknown, according to a report released Thursday by the inspector general for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Reunification will take a massive effort, if it can be accomplished at all. The fallout from Trump's "zero tolerance" policy will be felt for decades to come.

fall out from obama caused children to be given over to sex traffickers.
i wonder what the fall out and how much that will be felt from decades?

So, just because (advanced for the sake of argument only and taking no position on whether it is correct) the separation of children happened when Mr. Obama was the President, it is 100% acceptable to continue doing it now that Mr. Trump is President (but, of course, Mr. Obama should be excoriated for allowing it to happen).

Is that your position?

If (see above caveat) more children, per year, were separated while Mr. Trump was President than were separated while Mr. Obama was President, would that mean that Mr. Trump would be more, or less, "culpable" for the separation of children than Mr. Obama was - or would that mean that Mr. Obama was "culpable" for ALL of the separations both during and after his period as President?

Well, there is no evidence that "fall out from obama caused children to be given over to sex traffickers," but no doubt Trump apologists will still be repeating that mantra for decades. Who can blame them? They have nothing else with which to defend Donald Trump.

And, of course, if any children are "given over to sex traffickers" AFTER January 2018, the cry will be "It's all Obama's fault." - won't it?

Well, of course. Everything is Obama's fault. Only good things are Trump's doing.

So the Democrats in Congress are demanding those detained to sleep on the floor including children? Just how brutal to those detained do they want to be? What next, Democrats are going to shut down government unless ICE cuts how many calories they can eat by 2/3rds? Only 4 ounces of water each a day?

Democrats in Congress are demanding detainees sleep on the ground is outrageous and Republicans should howl about that level of cruelty Democrats in Congress want. Do those Democrats only want adults to sleep on the ground, or also little children?

What a childish post of lies.

Obviously you do not quite understand what the TECHNICAL term "beds" means.

But that's OK because it lets you make such unintentionally hilarious posts as the one you just made and I need all the laughs that I can get.

What a childish post of lies.

Not "lies" simply that the person does not know what is meant by "beds" in an institutional/custodial setting.

If, for example, it costs $500/day to provide one institutional/custodial "bed" and the provider of that "bed" receives exactly $500/day then, "obviously" the provider of that "bed" is NOT providing "housing", "clothing", "meals", "medical care", "supervision", "administrative services" or anything else and those poor wretches who are lying on their "bed" out in the open without any food, clothing, medical care, or supervision will soon expire from starvation, disease, and exposure.

Right?

PS - We won't go into whether the provider of those "beds" is renting them at $500/day, or whether they are buying a new $500 "bed" for each person every single day because the economics of that would be MUCH too complex for some people to cope with.
