‘I trusted you!’ Trump voters seethe after realizing they’re getting screwed by the GOP’s tax plan

So Trump voters are pissed that they are getting screwed? **** 'em. They are getting what they voted for.

I'm afraid the facts don't favor you. You have nothing but your rhetoric to back you up.

YOu still don't know how to read a graph do you? nope doesn't look like it.
you just like posting charts with no context because you can't deal with the facts.

Not really. Many people never adjusted their withholding charts or have too many allowances.
other people are still trying to itemize when there is little to no benefit for people to itemize
their tax returns.

most people do not have enough write-offs to over come the family deductible of 24,000.
with the single going up to 15k most people won't have enough personal deductions there either.

oh Ludin, the only thing we learned today is your father still does your taxes for you. Just an fyi, you don't adjust your "withholding chart". You adjust your withholding. And the part you're not grasping is that a lot of people needed to withhold more but didn't. Why is that you ask? because their taxes went up. And of course you really cement the deal with people have "have too many allowances" and "people are trying to itemize when its better not to". what does "too many allowances" even mean? and nobody is trying to itemize when the standard deduction is bigger.

If you want to discuss tax policy, please explain why we needed a corporate tax cut to help unemployment when UE was at a 25 year low (thanks Obama)?

Ol vern we still learned today you still can't actually argue a point.
There taxes didn't go up vern. that is what you don't get.

The tax bill changed the witholding charts some people had 4 or 5, 6 allowances. they saw a huge bump in pay.
their tax liability went down but they were not having enough with held from their pay checks.

allowances allow you to adjust your withholding.
this was the biggest impact that people are seeing.

Yes there are people still trying to itemize because they have always done it.
the number of allowances affect your witholding. more allowances means less money withheld from your check.

I already calculated my taxes this year.

not only am i getting a nice return i also paid about 2k less than 2017.

no i didn't itemize i took the standard deduction.
i only have about 1 allowance compared to 4 or 5.

i am a middle income person.
so i will take the 1,500-2000 i saved from 2017.
that is a huge increase in my pocket.

I make a good living so my taxes went down. Therefore it doesn't matter that a lower-income Trump voter saw their taxes go up.
