President Donald Trump told his longtime lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about his involvement in a deal to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to a bombshell report from BuzzFeed News on Thursday night.

The president also told Cohen he was on board with a plan to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the 2016 campaign in order to secure the deal, according to BuzzFeed. “Make it happen,” Trump reportedly said.

Now, I know a bunch of trump supporters are going to swoop in and claim the "unnamed sources" have no merit.

If this is true, however, it's the clearest evidence that our criminal president attempted to obstruct justice.

Trump reportedly pursued the controversial project in the middle of his 2016 presidential campaign, the culmination of a decades-long dream of building a tower in Russia, The Washington Post reported in 2017. At the same time, he repeatedly told supporters on the campaign trail that he had no business in Russia.

trump is a liar!

Gonna need to see some credible evidence of this. Named eye witness testimony.

I've had my absolute fill of UN named sources, or kinda possibly maybes, etc. You want me to turn on trump with pitch forks ready, you gotta bring proof.

I wouldn't question Buzzfeed's credibility after winning lawsuits about such credibility.

Where in the article is it demonstrated that the findings in the Dossier are credible? Or that Buzzfeed is credible as a news source for having published the Dossier without verifying the information contained within?

Cohen:" Trump told me to lie"

Trump: "No I didn't "

Where do we go from there?

I'd be surprised if there was any kind of written evidence.

IF, IF, IF, IF the sky falls tomorrow there will be hell to pay. BuzzFeed News and Cohen, Buzz has no corroboration of anything, and Cohen, last I heard he was convicted of lying to Congress.

An Attorney is not suppose to lie and under oath that would be perjury. If Trump told his Atty (Cohen to lie) that's on Cohen and not on Trump. Trump was Cohen's client.

Yep, and trump has been so ****ing honest about everything, regarding his Moscow tower he lied to the American people several times about that.

If you can tell who's lying, between Cohen and trump, you win an award my biased friend.

LOL. Cohen is the liar.

It's amazing how many biased, right-wing nuts who don't take the time to learn what all sides have said can come to the conclusion you just did.

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. Ordering someone who serves you to lie is obstructing justice, my friend.

Sorry.

Isn't obstruction of Justice when you force someone do the act? You say Trump ordered Cohen to lie, Cohen could have said no, I won't lie. Why do you feel Cohen had to do what Trump asked him to do? Did Trump hold anything over Cohen, bribe him or threaten him? Also was Trump President when this supposedly happened or was he a candidate? There's a lot more we need to know before we can say this will end Trumps' presidency but first is it even true?

It is also illegal to direct someone to lie. That was the first offense in Nixon's impeachment effort. Let me say that again - this is exactly what they got Nixon for.

LOL. Cohen is the liar.

Cohen did not lie alone. He was caught for lying and has since been forced to tell the truth. He was convicted for lying and if he keeps lying he'll get more charges. Therefore he is now telling the truth. This is what happens when a witness turns. This is how teachers catch the kid smoking in the toilet, how the police charge a burglar and his accomplices, how the DA prosecutes a corporate embezzler and his accountant and how federal prosecutors catch politicians who abuse their power.

It's very simple: Cohen has been telling the truth since he got busted. Not because he's a wonderful human being or has seen the error of his ways, or because he was offended by Trump's mean tweets. He's telling the truth because he's already been convicted once.

LOL. Cohen has changed his story numerous times but as long as he says something anti-Trump the left eats it up as if it were fact. The fact is, he will do anything to reduce his jail time, even if he has to lie. It is his words against Trump's words. There is no evidence to back up what he says.

What happens when evidence shows up? Do you move the goal post again?

He's telling HIS truth because he believes that being anti-Trump will bring him less jail time. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out.

They've already sentenced him, no changing the time he'll do now.

To the bolded: Yes, trump could have fired Cohen. Cohen's gravy train would then have come to an end. Certainly you're not so naive to think Cohen wasn't afraid of losing his income from trump and the fame that went along with it?

Can you think of any other party or parties involved in this story and others who have lied and changed their story several times? Lets start with the trump Tower meeting.
