Schiff: Trump may face ‘real prospect of jail time’

Where have I made that claim?

From my recollection, all I've stated was why I didn't believe Schiff.

And I pointed out your hypocrisy for believing Trump instead.

Where have I claimed to have Trump over Schiff?

All I've claimed is that I don't trust what Schiff keeps claiming.

Well Trump says he's completely innocent. Do you agree with him?

I have insufficient information to make a definite position on that. I'll wait and see.

I didn't ask you for a definite position. I asked you if you agreed with him. Odd that you don't take the same stance on Schiff when Trump has offered considerably less evidence or potentiality.

He might if Steven Seagal decides he doesn't like him. Steven works for Vladimir Putin also, and Putin decides that, after arriving in Moscow, Trump is persona non grata, he might instruct Steven Seagal (aka "Lawman") to arrest him and take him to prison, a Russian prison.

Doesn’t Segal need stunt doubles to perform action scenes in his movies since Segal is so lazy he can’t perform his own stunts.

Putin has Trump perform all of his stunts for him.

Yet Trump has his own stunt man in Devin Nunes.

And all of 'em have their Dancing Fanboys. It ends at exit stage right into the police wagon.

Not odd. In your opinion.

Most of what I've seen some call 'evidence' it little more than guilt by innuendo.

Right now we've got Cohen paying off 2 women with hush money, and some Dems are claiming campaign finance violations on Trump. There's a missing step or two there.

We'll see if Trump's claims of innocence end up being true.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Sunday said that President Trump might "face the real prospect of jail time" after prosecutors indicated last week that he directed illegal payments during his 2016 presidential campaign.

"There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him. That he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time," he said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time.

I'm certainly no fan of Trump, and I personally do hope to see him behind bars, but c'mon, of course Dems are going to throw down the worst case scenario as a matter of reflex and course; this is a non-story.

Let us hope Adam Schiff is right and Trump does face some hard time behind prison bars. Heaven only knows his entire adult life path has been headed in that direction.

So that's what I wake-up to this morning. The Face header on Drudge Report.
That some cocky little California Jew and control freak who leaked as fast as he
could what Devon Nunes was trying to accomplish in the Congressional House Intelligence
Committee hearings and Investigation.Nunes as of a couple days ago discovering an
"FBI E-mail chain that may show the FISA Warrant process was abused by officials seeking
to collect intelligence on Trump associate Carter Page."
Gee ya tink.? You think for one stinkin' California minute this little jew creep
Adam Schitts will follow-up.Of course not. He's in bed with the Dirty Little Rascals
in the Democrat party. What else is new.

I love this footage of Trump far more.

It pretty much sums up his presidency, as it's very similar to what he did to get this toilet paper on his shoe.

His fly may be open too but he can zip his fly (maybe) and take the paper off his shoe ... but that's the way Schiff will always look.

Standford poliSci and JD from Harvard. He cut his teeth on successfully prosecuting an FBI agent passing documents to Russia for money.

Keep laughing and ridiculing his looks. Who is he replacing on the head of the Intelligence Committee? What? Devin Nunes?
The guy with an agriculture degree who ran interference for the White House for two years? The memos, the secret midnight run...that guy?

I'm thinking Schiff isn't gonna have to try very hard to show Nunes how it's done. If there are any threads to pull, Schiff's the guy that will find them, and methodically, pull them all. Good luck in January.

Mach loves Aaaaadam.

Negative unsupportable assertion #434, 331 for Schiff personally, #6,666,666 for the leftist media.

Another "fatal bombshell", hit the pillow fellows, we have more useless duds incoming. Snore

What an odd compulsion to have to pretend that Schiff leaked anything.

Schiff is basically floating a trial balloon to see if they should go ahead and push for impeachment. It has almost nothing to do with what Trump has done, purely political. Obviously, since the Democrats were talking impeachment from the day after they were hurt so badly in the election, it has nothing to do with anything Trump did, other than beating Hillary.

It's all about the Democrats grasping for power. They see Trump is an outsider, so besides their hate for any Republican President, they know that many Republicans, steeped in the establishment like them, will not oppose them. Regardless of being in the majority or minority, it's a good, cushy, rich life for those guys, on our dime. The last thing they want is someone like Trump, who upsets their life in the bubble.

But there is also a lot of risk and danger in failing. Trump is very good at defending himself and making these politicians look like the corrupt fools that they are. They know they are vulnerable. They MUST have support from the American people to go forward. But, they could lose it at any time during the process, and then they are toast.

So, we have the trial balloon. But they need more than that. Way more.

There's definitely a huge risk in this whole thing.
If by the 2020 election cycle all they have is "Trump hired some crooked creepy guys" it won't help them much in the election ... probably would hurt them if that's all there is despite them insisting that it's still huge.
2020, after all, is one of the reasons we're all going through this. The other reason was as an excuse for the Resistance.

However, if there really is something there and it's not trumped up, then he deserves to go down.
We won't know it till we see it but we'll still have continue to separate the wheat from the chaff regardless.

If they are going to try and impeach, it might run into the reelection cycle. I wonder if they want to try and impeach him during the campaign, in hopes that it will have a Watergate like effect on the elections? Since it will likely fail in the Senate, they wouldn't want that to happen before the election. If he loses the election, it would stop there anyway. One big problem, Nixon tried to cover it up. Right now, they have no evidence that Trump did anything wrong.

The more I think about this, the more I see this hurting the Democrats. Are they going to try to impeach a President that is running for reelection, basically telling the American people that they don't care what they think, and the Democrats want to take the choice away from the people?

If Trump got reelected during or right after an impeachment attempt, it would be an absolute disaster for the Democrats. The downside is way worse than any upside. They might lose more seats than ever before.

And people like yourself will deny the reality of Trump's obviously bad legal situation until the the bitter end.

Depends on how you view it. Federal election experts view Trumps payments as personal financial transactions. I trust those people far more than the partisan hack, Schiff.

These are the payments that a couple of months ago never happened, right? Now they were just a personal transaction, even thou they never happened, right? what are the partisan credentials of these "experts"?

I kind of felt the same, but this wasn't that long ago:

That's SDNY Attorney's office. Trump also fired the attorney that prosecuted this guy.

All of which can be used in a charge of abuse of power by Trump. Still, I doubt Trump is going to jail. We’ll see.

Partisan credentials I don't know but is former "FEC Chairman" considered a regular credential to slightly liberals?
