That’s got to be vexing for GOP voters. Are they supposed to like Obamacare now? Or dislike Dems?

In Confusing Moment, Trump Claims Dems Will Dismantle Obamacare If They Win
Seemingly forgetting the Democrats’ exhaustive battle to prevent the Republicans from dismantling Obamacare earlier this year, President Donald Trump said Monday night that Democrats would “obliterate” President Barack Obama’s signature legislation should they triumph on Tuesday.

“The Democrat plan would obliterate Obamacare,” Trump claimed.

His next comments were even weirder. He followed up the bizarre statement with an assertion of his own party’s intent to repeal Obamacare, going on indecipherable tangents about Democrats’ desire to get rid of Medicare and recounting the late Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) “no” vote on the attempted Obamacare repeal earlier this year.

His comments make little sense, and some are speculating that he meant to claim that Democrats want to get rid of Medicare, not Obamacare. Trump has long said (baselessly) that Democrats aim to end Medicare if they gain power.

Trump's an idiot.

And that has nothing to do with what he said Monday night.

Trump says that Democrats will destroy Obamacare and that Obamacare is good.

Then he says how McCain prevented Trump from destroying Obamacare but don't worry he's still going to destroy it next year.

I'm not sure the bigger retard is. Trump, or the collective sychophancy and sociopathy of those who believe him.

I have never liked his position on healthcare. Its slightly better thsn obsma care but it is pronciply flswed the same way obamacare is.

If they want to cover pre-existing they should create a public version of the VA that specifically addresses that and only that. Im not a fan of that either but it is a compromise between socialized medicine and a free capital model

Those who continue to believe him.

And those that thought Hillary would beat him.

Hillary who?
Those that either choose to ignore or actually believe trump have major issues.

OTOH I haven't seen Red MAGA Hat crowds show up en masse to the polls. Maybe they are embarrassed to wear them anywhere other than a Trump rally.

I think we all know the reality. More fun to ridicule Trump I guess. Democrats are now running on a single payer system (which I thought is/was the right answer) so they DO in fact want to eliminate ACA as we know it.

Dems want to replace it with single payer.

Dems can make ACA work if it is their only option.

Dems wining the house keeps it alive.

If Trump wins the House he will ACA and pre-existing conditions out of spite.

The collective sychophancy and sociopathy of those who believe him and those who act like they believe him. No doubt about it.

The free capital model, as you call it, only frees capital, it doesn't free people from disease and debt. Some conditions are congenital, some are the result of exposure to pathogens and poisons. Everyone who gets sick is a human, though. We all deserve care and if that means that rich people aren't as rich (which I doubt would happen) to make that happen, so be it.

What I think would happen is that our national health strategy would go from profits to health related results. Prevention and early detection of problems would be the norm rather than pharmaceutical cocktails they currently serve to the detriment of our health and finances. I think the improved health of our society would manifest as billions in savings to Americans which they could spend on things like retirement and the price of healthcare itself would go down.

The idea that people should shop around for their healthcare makes this human need just another commodity, another market they can use to exploit us. Government is the only entity equipped to organize the healthcare of a nation. When left in private hands, the health of the American people becomes just another profit engine for a few and, besides, even if the government's plan is not perfect, at least it doesn't begin by PROFITING from sickness. That is contrary to the very idea of healthcare and of morality. How are Americans missing that fact? These threats about a loss of choice seem silly when the current system costs you everything.

...What...?

So, let me get this straight.

Trump thinks that Democrats, the party responsible for passing into law their signature piece of legislation, are going to now dismantle said law if they win.

Hmm 🤔🤔🤔

Me thinks this is admittance that even Trump knows the ACA is popular and works well for those who can't afford healthcare.

As long as Trump's comments have the word "Democrat" and "will ruin", the rest of the words are meaningless. He's a real Uniter, isn't he?

So you want to adopt a more socialist solution than simply putting everyone on the same healthcare plan so premiums are reduced?

Build brick and mortar care facilities, on the public dime, and run them on the public dime.

And you have no idea what his position on healthcare is, because he has no idea. He flip flops all the time on what he's doing.

Because there is no plan, other than sell dumb dumbs a load of **** they want to hear.

I'd explain it to you, but I'm not qualified to educate special needs people.
