The president touted actions he has taken for America’s religious groups in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network.President Donald Trump is supremely confident that evangelical Christians, who have consistently been among his most loyal supporters[/URL], will continue to show up for him during the upcoming midterm elections. With his characteristic sweeping bravado, Trump told a Christian news station that because of everything he has done for America’s religious groups, he’s certain evangelicals will come through for him, even though he’s not on the ballot next Tuesday.

“They’re going to show up for me because nobody’s done more for Christians or evangelicals or, frankly, religion than I have,” he said in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Networkpublished on Thursday.

Religion? I wonder what he means by religion. Clearly he doesn't think Islam is a religion, because his comment about seeing Muslims celebrating on rooftops on 9/11 was not very helpful to them.

After the Stormy Daniels HUSH money reports started to surface, Evangelical leaders met with Trump, and he told them that he didn't have that affair. Then the Cohen tape surfaces, where Trump tells Cohen to pay her off. I suppse that's doing more for religion than anybody else.

I do not see Christianity as a hate group. I am a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ. I subscribe to the Ten Commandments. Trump does neither of the latter two.

Christians need to really start analyzing the effects of this president. What kind of values are our children learning, with Trump as a role model?
