So it turns out that Javanka are part of a uber elite hollywood cult!!!! Who would have thought? Oh wait, just about anybody who grew up with these two in the tri-state area. Mrs. Kushner in particular has always had the posh lifestyle. Can't wait to see the Trump supporters explain this one away.

Let's see it might go something like this:

Them: Oh it's just their beliefs. Why you so mean????

Me: I don't know why it's mean to point out magical cults people belong to. Conservatives have been doing that to every President.

Them: Except these are the President's kids. Not Trump himself. Loser, stop being obsessed.

Me: Trump peddled magical brain boosting pills for years.

Them: That was to make money.

Me: Peddling in magical pills is historically proven to be not a good business model and should be illegal. Just ask Jack.

Question, How is the following
Celebs from Katy Perry to Ivanka say Transcendental Meditation helps them focus. The movement’s chief promises more: quasi-magical powers and the ability to steer world events.

Different from Scientology?

Daily Beast? Really? OK. This is the non MSM area but that doesn't mean everything in the National Enquirer is true.

(Sigh)

Explain what away?

Comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Margaret Cho were there. So was the singer Kesha, as well as White House advisers Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump...Seinfeld laughed with Jay Leno for the cameras; Hugh Jackman, who co-hosted the event with Katie Couric, posed with real estate developer Jeffrey Abramson and his wife Rona. Jay Leno, Ben Folds, singer Angelique Kidjo, classical guitarist Sharon Isbin, and Seinfeld, Cho, and Kesha performed for the assembled luminaries...

So a bunch of "luminaries" participated in a Transcendental Meditation event, and this is somehow negative to you?

Ever heard of freedom of association, freedom of religious beliefs, freedom of speech; all part and parcel of our national ideology?

So what if some "gurus" claim certain spiritual powers? I bet if we examined your religious or secular belief systems someone might find something amusing to go on about.

Scientology? :doh

I guess the question is, (assuming best case scenario it's not some ad hominin attack on their character) what is your point? :unsure13:

Either that the Kushner's enjoy hanging out with uber liberals at their fancy retreats, or they do believe that they have magical flying powers that can end wars. At least in Jared's case we know this to be true, because Nikki Haley was forced to say it on live TV. :lamo

None of which christian conservatives who claim to hate hollywood liberals should support. And yet here you are.

1. Don't presume to dictate what other people should or should not think or believe. I don't recall the creation of any national thought police, or of anyone electing you the arbiter of what constitutes "right-thinking."

2. You assume I am a "Christian conservative" (i.e. Evangelical) as if that were both true, and would also determine how I must or must not think about anything.

Again, you present no rational arguments, nor any valid point in debate for this thread. It is just another attempt at character assassination targeting members of Trump's family.

Tagline time. :coffeepap:

Javanka assassinates character all by themselves. They don't need my help, but their hypocrisy should be exposed for all the world to see! Don't you agree? The fact that you just admitted you don't care about this type of elitist attitude coming from the President's kids, exposes your own hypocrisy. I posted this also to show anyone who supports this crap that next time they complain about this crap from other celebs, it will hopefully remind them that they supported it too!

It's also fun watching you try to wrap your head around it and try to support it when I know you don't. I just don't know why you don't come out and say it. :lamo

Try this:

Meditation works. I've done it. No, it doesn't do anything that doesn't pass the smell test.

TM is a valid type of meditation, and you can learn and practice it without believing nonsense or joining any group. There are other techniques that work, of course.

Edit : this thread is a serious knee-jerk.

The Enquired is one of Trump's favored media outlets. How dare you connect their name to an insult.

Why does Ivanka need this to fly when her father can stop it from raining?
