That thought came to my mind also, but I don't think so. The reasons she cited weren't related to Kavanaugh. My guess is she waited until after the confirmation to avoid the appearance she was reacting to that, but also wanted to give her endorsement before early voting.
Kudos to her for getting involved in local elections, and avoiding the national mess.
Yeah I noticed she stayed out of the Kavanaugh fray. I just wondered, because she's a victim of sexual assault. I just wondered if that had anything to do with it.
I don't know why people get so angry when celebrities voice their opinions. Taylor Swift is a singer. That is her job. Just like people have jobs as truck drivers or doctors or retail managers. Those kinds of people are allowed to voice their opinions, so why is she not?
Personally, I like the kid. She's never had any scandal or drama. I agree with you that it's smart for her to be involved. Her getting involved might get others involved. Never anything wrong with that.
