Actually there is plenty of evidence of that.... The allegations against Kavanaugh were not fully flushed out and efforts to flush them out were short-circuited. Moreover, there are no witnesses that said he did not do it, they merely said that have no knowledge of such things. The allegations against Kavanaugh will not go away. We will learn more in the coming years.

Kavanaugh is, and will remain, a controversial SCOTUS pick. He may be on the SCOTUS, but he is suitability for that position will remain suspect for the forseeable future.

The FBI follow-up investigation was a sham. No one of substance was interviewed; material information was offered, but not followed up; the American people were not allowed to even hear the results, with precautions taken to ensure they did not hear it.

Jamming through a judge that the American people do not want in the SCOTUS is an arrogant and dangerous form of politics. Our democracy took a major hit by the reckless actions of the minority of Americans here. Trying to govern a democracy from the minority is not a winning long-term formula for a party or for the country.

His suitability in the wake of allegations of assault (and possible lying) was indeed THE QUESTION since the Dr. Ford allegations came to light.
