Cristina King Miranda says she recalls it being discussed at their school, but has no first-hand knowledge of the alleged assault by Brett Kavanaugh.

WASHINGTON — A former schoolmate of Brett Kavanaugh's accuser wrote a Facebook post saying she recalls hearing about the alleged assault incident involving the future Supreme Court nominee, though she says she has no first-hand information to corroborate the accuser's claims.

"Christine Blasey Ford was a year or so behind me," wrote the woman, Cristina Miranda King, who now works as a performing arts curator in Mexico City. "I did not know her personally but I remember her. This incident did happen."

So apparently the sexual assault did happen & was apparently commonly discussed at her private school.

King has since taken down her Facebook post, which NBC News verified as having appeared on her account. She said on Twitter that she deleted it "because it served its purpose and I am now dealing with a slew of requests for interviews…Organizing how I want to proceed.Was not ready for that, not sure I am interested in pursuing. Thanks for reading."

If this report holds up - and if it encourages others to come forward - this could be lights out for Kanavaugh.


We need a real investigation and a thorough hearing with more than just two witnesses.

So she is claiming Ford is a liar and that she did tell people?

There were at least 2 of his classmates present during the assault. Even though they have both stated that they don't want to get involved, they should be subpoenaed & forced to either testify or take the 5th & risk a contempt of Congress charge. I don't think this process will make Kavanaugh look good.

so whatever she said was meaningless and irrelevant.

i don't know how he can look bad. he is innocent and there is 0 evidence that he did anything.

I predicted in another thread that Kavanaugh would withdraw; with the lukewarm POTUS statement and the “coming out of the woodwork” circus gaining steam, I reiterate my prediction.........film @ 2300hrs.
 
If this woman is saying that she heard about it while in school three decades ago, it adds a new layer of credibility to the entire matter. It does NTO matter that she ws not in the room or not a witness to anything. Her hearing about it over thirty years ago in the same school adds to the idea that this was real.

Either that or Ford decided 35 years ago to destroy Kavanaugh when he was nominated for the Court in the future and was carefully planting seeds which would not take root for over thirty years.

Now which one is the most plausible?
 
I believe it was Fletch in another thread who asked an important question. The classmate said that all this was talked about at school, but Ford says she never told anybody. If she never told a soul, how would this woman know?

There were only two witnesses per Ford's own account and they have already denied knowledge of the incident. What you're REALLY suggesting here is that we rely on hearsay from people "encouraged" to come forward 35 years after the fact. The funny part is that you are so infected with hatred of all things Trump that you probably can't even see how this would violate every principle our legal system was built upon.

Just remember, the standards you set today will apply equally to you tomorrow.
 
So she remembers hearing about the incident back in school. Does she remember hearing that the incident involved Kavanaugh specifically? If she does then that doesn’t mean Kavanaugh did it, but it discredits the notion that this whole thing was made up to stop Kavanaugh’s appointment or that it was revenge for some previous ruling. So it wouldn’t mean Ford wasn’t lying at the time but it destroys most of the motives she would have for lying. That is if the high school rumor actually included Kavanaugh’s name.

The most "Plausible" answer to this new revelation is someone who knows nothing (as she states herself) but is on the "No possible Roe v. Wade reversal appointment if I can help it" kick of repressed memory coming to the fore.

That and her 15 minutes of fame shot. :roll:

Wait for it, I predict more "repressed memories" of second hand knowledge popping up over the next few news periods. :coffeepap:

Or she just remembers hearing rumors about it back in school. That seems slightly more plausible to me. Anybody who comes out about this is putting themselves in the position of possibly having to answer questions under oath and subject themselves to possible perjury charges and ruined reputation. I do see them doing that to protect Roe v Wade when Roe v Wade isn’t going to be overturned even if Kavanaugh is appointed.

Seems more plausible to me she is telling the truth about hearing the rumor. Definitely not certain, though.

I haven't seen anything from anyone (other than Blasey, of course) that linked Kavanaugh to anything.

I did see a similar thread earlier on DP and it looks like it disappeared.
Was it removed? I do remember who started the thread. Since the thread might be gone I won't mention the name.
It might have come from a Facebook page. Perhaps it was this one.
It was a defense of Blasey, naturally, but what stood out was 2 things.
She also couldn't link Kavanaugh to any assault and she hated Trump and opposed Kavanaugh ... but not because of any assault.

republicans to release a list of names of people who didn't hear about the story LOL like they did with their dumb list of women that weren't sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh. There is a lot more to this than just an accusation that makes it hard for republicans to claim it is fake or just a political stunt. Don't matter, it won't stop them from spouting that BS, they have no dignity and no shame

I hope she is strong enough to face the wrath and testify and who the country what misogynistic assholes republicans are.

From what I recall, the removed Facebook entry claimed there were many instances of such party activity back then and that leads her to believe Blasey although she never heard anything involving Kavanaugh.

Weren’t multiple people allegedly at the incident? I could see the type of guy who would stand around watching that happen also be the type of guy to joke about it with others afterwards. Certainly wouldn’t be the first time loose lips sunk a ship.

The therapists are potential witnesses before the Committee who can provide valuable information supporting that such an incident was talked about years before the Kavanaugh nomination was made. As is Fords husband.
