A Chinese-owned company operating in the Washington, D.C., area hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server throughout her term as secretary of state and obtained nearly all her emails...

The Chinese firm obtained Clinton’s emails in real time as she sent and received communications and documents through her personal server, according to the sources, who said the hacking was conducted as part of an intelligence operation.

The Chinese wrote code that was embedded in the server, which was kept in Clinton’s residence in upstate New York. The code generated an instant “courtesy copy” for nearly all of her emails and forwarded them to the Chinese company, according to the sources.

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that virtually all of Clinton’s emails were sent to a “foreign entity,”...

She should be rotting the remainder of her life in jail.

The OP should be sent to jail for reading garbage news sources.

I don't know which is worse:

1. Hillary put classified information on her personal server that wasn't properly secured.

2. Hillary and her people were such abject dumbasses that they allowed her server to be compromised.

3. The FBI, when told about the hack, did nothing.

On a side note, I didn't know there was a position called the "Intelligence Community Inspector General". I looked it up and it's real. You learn something new every day.

I used to visit a liberal site where, any time someone brought up Trump's failings, they chanted, "But her e-mails!" This was a lazy argument in which the speakers were trying to minimize Hillary's incredible hubris in breaking security for her personal convenience.

I voted for her, but I've come to think of her as little more than a political hack. I'm not at all sorry she lost. Maybe Trump's reign will force the Dems to think outside the box.

Trump has a bad week, so you can count on the Clinton threads to try and distract...

I believe nothing until I see the emails they claim they have.

Are you disputing the message? Or the messenger?

Reading news, garbage or otherwise, is not a jailable offense. Grossly mishandling classified material is.

I was responding to Middleground, not to Zimmer.

Your link severely contradicts the OP. The OP is saying that she was hacked. Your link says there is no evidence she was hacked. These things cannot both be true without a lot of questions being answered. That's why your link contradicts Zimmer's.

How 'bout we just lock 'em both up. That would make everyone happy, right?

She broke the law and you can't resist crying about President Trump.

The Post's article is titled:

"No evidence Clinton’s email was hacked by foreign powers, but it could have been"

I didn't validate the SOURCES article. It may well be worthless.

However, my point is that since the Post said that foreign agents could have hacked Hillary, the incident illustrates Hillary's lack of good sense. Everything I posted was predicated on that estimation.

The Post says that it seems unlikely that evidence will be found, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it never will be. Long after the execution of the Rosenbergs, a KGB spy verified the fact of their treason, thus breaking the hearts of all those who wanted to believe them victims of the American autocracy.

Yes, and the OP claims China hacked Hillary. This directly contradicts the claim that no foreign power did it. Coulda/woulda/shoulda isn't what we're discussing here.

You don't want to discuss "coulda." I do.

It will still contradict the OP's posts and claims though. I'm pointing out the obvious. :)

Even comey said that her server was more than likely compromised they just couldn't prove it,
but that is still a criminal act right there.

mishandling of classified information has landed plenty of people in jail even if they didn't intend to do it.

Really? Where is the conviction?

The investigation rigged. Unfortunately, there was no conviction. However, a conviction required to prove someone broke the law.

Huh? Did you just accidentally agree with him?
