More misreporting? Democrats are trying to damage the Trump administration again. Bolton made a video at the request of Mr. Keene an American citizen.


A source close to Bolton told NPR that he was originally asked to record the video by Keene, who served as NRA president from 2011 to 2013, and that he was informed the recording was for the Russian legislature. The source also said the former ambassador had never heard of The Right to Bear Arms until recent news coverage of the group.

Bolton was not present at this conference. But the issue the former ambassador raised in his 2013 video — changing the Russian Constitution to guarantee gun rights — was a major theme.

Lesson - Classical fascism involves ownership of the government by corporations. Don't think Hitler here. Think Mussolini, the father of Fascism. Leftists, as a rule, don't like corporations, or corporate control of government. Pop, there goes your claim, right into the old crapper. :mrgreen:

Her job was to meet & identify people for potential future exploitation, especially in the gun lobby area, which she aggressively infiltrated. If you register as a foreign agent that is tough to do because you will always have an FBI tail.

Fascism is actually corporate control of the reins of governmental power - That's pretty much the definition of classical fascism. A lot of people throw a lot of other stuff in there, like nationalism, making a group out to be an enemy, autocracy, etc, etc, but those traits can happen with any government. Look at the Old Soviet Union. They did all that other stuff too, but were Communist. Classical fascism was and still is corporate control of the reins of power. There are many ways to do that. Mussolini installed something resembling a corporate board of directors instead of a real congress. Another way is happening right here in the good old USA, and that's corporations buying congresspeople and their votes. Once enough votes are bought, the end result will still be the same as if a nation's leader replaced Congress with them. Also, the very people a Constitutional Republic represents can vote in a fascist government which will take it all away. All it takes is enough of the right propaganda to send to a populace made ignorant by the reality shows and other mind destroying crap they see on TV.
